The second time I called Ms. Ferlic, again upon the recommendation of another lawyer. I wanted to inquire about suing a medical provider who was providing my spouse substandard psychiatric care. She persuaded Richards to act as counsel for the court appointed Guardian and Conservator so that he could bill them instead of her- kinda shady? Not the half of it. MANY thousands of dollars later (paid by my Mother in Law's account) my Wife and I won the challenge in District court (Pro Se, nonetheless) by asserting and obtaining a ruling that the Guardian agency, by means of Richards (who was engaged by a beneficiary, the Sister in law) held no standing to oppose the will and that there was no evidence to support the sister in law's allegation that there was no competence to complete it. Richards is the "low cost counsel" for a reason..... low cost results and questionable acts to have an elderly, guardian represented sweet old lady, pay for her own daughter to dispute her last will.
