My husband called a bunch of lawyers and set up meetings all over town. Everyone wanted to take my case, but we went with Brian and his team because, right from the beginning, I could tell they were professional, kind, and genuinely felt bad for what had happened to me--ruining my face and causing a traumatic brain injury due to the city's negligence. A couple of months ago, we started preparing for trial, and the level of attention to detail from Brian and his team was incredible. We were in constant communication, and I always felt comfortable asking any questions. I had a wonderful meeting with Jon and Annie that made me feel completely ready for trial. Thankfully, we didn't even have to go to court, as the city offered a settlement. I fully trusted Brian's advice to settle, and I'm so glad I did. It's rare to find people who are so hardworking, compassionate, and truly eager to fight for you. Every single person on that team is incredible--I would be ready to go to trial with any of them. Thank you Brian, Jon, Annie, Mark, Tatiana for all your work during these 3 years!

From day one, Brian Breiter and Jeff Twomey saw me as more than a case. They understood how the city's failure to maintain its trees had upended my life, and they treated me with both compassion and determination. Their investigation was meticulous. They brought in arborists, analyzing weather data, and uncovering damning maintenance records. Despite the city offering nothing in mediation and insisting they'd win at trial, Brian and Jeff never backed down. They kept me informed every step of the way and made sure the full impact of my injuries--including cognitive challenges affecting my work and family--was accounted for. The unanimous jury verdict far exceeded my expectations and will help secure my future recovery as well as my family's future. Just as importantly, I believe their work will drive change in how the city maintains its parks. If you've suffered an injury that never should have happened, you want Breiter Law in your corner. They know how to take on giants and win.

Edmond is super frank, extremely knowledgeable, professional, and patient. My prior lawyer, who came from work of mouth, was horrible and lazy. I felt spoken down to, as though reviewing a contract before signing showed a lack of trust. Mr. El Dabe ultimately agreed to make changes and said a revised agreement would be sent. When it did not arrive as indicated, I consulted another firm and politely followed up. Hope then called and said they would no longer take my case because I mentioned the other consultation. They had every right to decline representation, but agreeing to changes, delaying the revised agreement, and then backing out because I explored another option is what actually eroded trust. Basic due diligence should not be treated as disloyalty. I never retained the firm; this review reflects my consultation experience.
