Was sold a new Acer Aspire 3 Computer because I thought the previous Acer Aspire was not working. After the new purchase we realised the old computer WAS working nobody really checked it well enough. Unfortunately I had purchased the new one but should have asked for a REFUND. Now the new Acer 5 is no longer working so I took it back over 21 days ago and am still waiting to get it back. I have had to use my old Aspire 3 now but both packed in before the 2 year purchase period was up. They have even charged me $99 to have it sent back to Acer to get a new battery & Charger as both were not working. I will never buy Acer or shop at HN again read more

We bought a king bed, it was delivered by Harvey Norman's delivery team. Unfortunately they dented the wall bringing the bed head in. On a better note, the foot of the bed has drawers, these proved to be out of alignment, and Harvey Norman sent a technician to install an extra strut to fix this. read more

SHOP AT THE GOOD GUYS OR ANYWHERE ELSE. If you buy here you have to be gerry Harvey's debt collector. Id give these scammers no stars if i could. I bought a tv, aircon, and a couple of other things, so i spent a fair amount of money. When it came to the air-conditioner they told me to honour the harvey scamming norman warranty i had to use "their installer" which id and have the invoice to prove it, 5 year warranty btw. So 2 years later the air-conditioner isn't blowing cold air so i try to start the scamming joke of a warranty process but im told we no longer use these intallers, not my problem it was a harvey norman warranty not the installers warranty. So harvey scamming norman tried to get in contact with said installer who ignored them, again not my problem. So when they couldn't get hold of them they got onto Samsung to have a look at it. Samsung said if its a installer problem it will cost $200 for diagnosis and then whatever the price is to fix it. So harvey scamming norman refuse to pay for Samsung to diagnosis and fix the problem and tell me its now my responsibility to chase their installer for the money. Hahahaha sorry im still laughing at that one. Then the nob sales bloke tells me that "well it's now 2 years in and all of a sudden there is something wrong with the installation seems strange" after his other mate had told me that it could be the gas that has leaked out slowly over time. Still laughing at that one to, could be for any reason, isn't that what 5 year warranty is for, it doesn't matter if its 1 2 3 4 5 years in a warranty is a warranty. So even Samsung have said they have had this happen with the good guys before and the good guys paid to have it fixed (probably as per warranty) so shop at the good guys at least they honour warranties. This is obviously how gerry harvey makes billions by ripping off hard working Australians like he talks about in his ads, pfffft thieving scammer more like it i guess you can never have enough money. So if your going to spend your hard earned cash go where you will get real customer service and warranties will be honoured because it's not harvey scamming norman. Thay just like taking your money and you have to their debt collector for them. Oh and i forgot the other thing im still laughing at is old nob head who i spoke to said you don't have proof that our installer did the job, even tho i kept saying i do and i have sent i through he just kept saying it like thats how they were going to stitch me up hahaha clowns read more
