The wine department alone is worth the trip -- they've got everything organized by region with these great little signposts (Chile, Argentina, an actual sake and dessert section), plus a deep bench of natural and small-production bottles. Found some gems I hadn't seen anywhere else in town. The prepared food situation is excellent. The hot bar, salad bar, and antipasto bar are all $9.99/lb, and they've got a made-to-order panini station and wok bowls if you'd rather get something fresh. Solid spot for a quick, quality lunch. What really sets this place apart is that it's so much more than a grocery store. There's a whole housewares section with SMEG kettles, beautiful linens, mugs, and kitchen gear -- dangerously easy to walk out with more than you came for. They even have a sunny garden nook with locally grown succulents, orchids, lavender, and organic seed packets from regional growers. Love that they support local. Clean, bright, well-staffed, and stocked with care. This is the kind of place that makes you want to actually cook. Highly recommend.

He was very interested in my feedback and concerned about the issues I noted in my review. We had a good discussion. Since that time I continue to shop here and have noted some good improvements in the atmosphere. Primarily, the staff at the front of the store seem much more engaged in their work. I've seen no more of the grand socializing I used to see. I've even had staff do the bagging at checkout! I appreciate the work they are doing to improve services here. I think there is still some room to go as staff in the rest of the store still can be less than helpful, but I also realize hiring good staff is challenging in the current market.

I called the 877 number for customer complaints and told the rep about my experience. She appeared to be reading off of a script and couldn't vary from it. I believe that I will begin shopping at another grocery store in the future.

Just like any other Walmart, it is a supercenter. Here you can find everything from groceries, toiletries and clothing, to electronics, housewares, and toys. They also have a photo center and you can also purchase money orders if that is something you need. At the front of the store is also an optical center which I have never personally used. Their garden center is open year round and during the spring and summer months they sell a variety of different plants, soil, and gardening tools. I have no complaints at all about the cleanliness of the actual store. The aisles are neat and clutter free and the employees seem great about making that a priority. The restrooms on the other hand, are almost always dirty. I've used the restrooms at both the front and back of the store and they are consistently dirty. There are plenty of self checkout lanes, but they do end up closing most of them down the later it gets at night. This is the smaller Wal Mart store in town so their selection of items isn't always the greatest, but that's never usually an issue for me. I typically know what I want before I even walk in so that way I'm not in there too long. It's definitely a one-stop-shop for those in Missoula and the surrounding areas.
