Walking up, there's an outdoor section with books for sale that is aesthetically pleasing. We didn't go through the books but I saw sales as low as $5 a book. This book store is one of a kind! There's 3 floors. The stairs to the second floor are beautiful. The top floor has an impressive collection of rare books. We spent 30 minutes just looking through all the titles and oooing and ahhhing at how awesome it would be to own them! This is a book lovers dream and honestly just stop by to see how cool it is!

There were so many books, everywhere in the store and outside the store. I didn't find anything outside. I don't think it was anything written in the last 20 years outside. All old or hella old books. Inside, there were old books also but a few newer books. There were so many sections to browse. I also was able to find and purchase a book that was on my TBR. The people at the register were nice and made sure they were ringing everyone up and moving the line along. The prices for the books were ok. I bought a book because I didn't have it and I was here but I'm sure I could have gotten it cheaper at the Goodwill but it's about the experience. I definitely enjoyed the bookshop and the experience.

We came for dinner and I got the turkey and brie sandwich. The brie melted in your mouth and paired perfectly with the crunchy vegetables and turkey in the sandwich. There was also a layer of fruit jam which created a salty sweet combination that was delicious. I also shared a warm custard bread pudding for dessert with a friend (be aware that you have to order this 30 minutes ahead as they bake it fresh!) which was so yummy - it was quite sweet but gooey and a lovely mixture of caramel flavors that paired nicely with the vanilla gelato. Prices are on the higher side but align with the attention that is paid to each plate! They have a super cute bookstore next to the cafe which is fun to browse. The set-up is within three stories of a house and the decor/design inside is very cozy - definitely worth checking out. On the third floor children's section there is a toy train that periodically circles the top of the room which is a fun touch too!

We had the ginger lemonade (crisp & refreshing) and the hot vanilla latte (pretty standard taste) Service: 7/10 We were well cared for. Ambiance: 10/10 Super cute spot for pictures, and book browsing! There is a restroom for customers at the top floor. The entire place does get crowded. Make sure to have reservations if you would like to dine in and have more options than just the carry out menu.

It is pretty big and they have a lot of books, but it was crowded, making harder to browse and navigate. As far as the selection goes, it wasn't our cup of tea. Which is OK. Schedule - every day 12-7 pm , Fridays and Saturdays stays open till 8 pm which is great! You are left alone to look at books, staff here doesn't come around to bother you which is a major plus! Prices are a tad high for a used bookstore. It's worth checking it of you're in the area and you're a fellow bookworm! It has a charming, cozy feel to it.

Was about 6$ for 30 mins or 14$ for 1 hr... needless to say we spent a little more than 30 minutes browsing at the book store. They have a few very old books located next to the checkout point. Books on many hobbies and world religions as well as classics. They do have groups of reference books and thesaurus's (and while they may have been there... I noticed partial sets and only maybe 1-2 complete sets). Books are reasonably priced -- between 94 cents and 30$+. Store was pretty busy when we stopped by but that's exactly what I'd like with a used bookstore. They do accept donations and I surmise that the inventory turns over rather quickly.

My son and I grabbed some drinks from the cafe and they were delicious, then as we waited browsed their selection. There are more children's books overall but they do carry toys, trinkets, cards, crafts, historical books and more. The woman working the front was super sweet and the lady behind the cafe counter was too, their service was welcoming. As far as value I'd rather support local than the big store. Their prices are the norm but yes you can find majority of these books at big retailers for less. They both also gave a military discount even though I don't believe that is the norm for them but much appreciated. Overall great experience.

They really have something for everyone here. My boyfriend, who is more of a tea than a coffee person, hasn't found any complaints when trying their drinks (and he may be as much of a drink critic as I am). If you have kids, Blue Bunny also does creative and fun events to engage and involve your little ones in some much-needed book-themed fun. With our family expecting our first baby, we're beyond thrilled to bring her over to Blue Bunny's events, no matter how old she is. Blue Bunny is such a staple to the Dedham community, and I will always enjoy going back for some yummy coffees and good books.
