I truly feel she could care less about what is going on at the school as long as she gets her check. She once came to visit my class and it was like she was just spewing lies out of her mouth to make us all think we were in the greatest program EVER - when she left, we all just laughed because we knew it was all rehearsed with all of the awful things we had been experiencing at the school. I am a grown woman in my 40's. I had several meetings with my instructor, the Campus Director AND the Director of the program, and NOTHING changed.. (they also treat some of the instructors horridly behind the scenes and pay them a starting rate of only $35/hour when they could easily be making $50+ in the field - just look at indeed when they post). I also sent numerous emails to everyone I possibly could and nothing ever changed. The school is a JOKE in the community - no self respected medical office or hospital wants to hire graduates from CCC. They can't even give their students adequate "externships" because no one wants students from CCC. The equipment we used was soo out of date, and we even had to find our own pregnant women to scan during our OB/GYN sector. They provided ZERO assistance with this. Because I had no pregnant friends to practice on, I failed my scan exams horribly! Not to mention the sexual tone Edvin P would use about the women in my class and if they were "pretty" or not to him. I had a meeting with him and the Campus Director where he took ZERO accountability (she even said she wished he would have just stayed quiet, as she was so embarrassed with how he handled the meeting). I am embarrassed to say I ever made the decision to attend CCC and ashamed of the worthless debt I accrued. I stick with what I said before ... RUN FAST!!!!!

Some people still haven't been placed, and the students who did get placements were placed way too late. It's unfair to students who paid money, showed up, and did everything we were supposed to do just to have graduation affected by the school's poor organization and lack of support.

A four year night law school, Monterey College of Law offers an affordable legal education to students of all ages. This was the only law school, I attended and graduated from. Came her for a seminar and it was different from what I have experienced in the past. They served food right before which was nice and served drinks after the seminar was over. Lots of students, teachers and staff from the lab attended. Seminar room is pretty big and I heard they do offer this place free to the public once a year. If you get a chance come on down. It's a great place to see wildlife in its natural habitat, enjoy a great view and get loaded with information about our ecosystem and studies that have been done or still underway.

This is a renowned research laboratory about halfway between Santa Cruz and Monterey.They had a…read moresmaller older facility that was completely destroyed by the 1989 earthquake and so eventually rebuilt a better facility in a slightly safer spot on the site. It has some great displays, historical artifacts and and a fine library of their research projects. They also have classrooms for the courses they teach for a variety of marine biology majors of several CA State college campuses. We met the director and a library's graduate student assistant who gave us a tour of some of the facility and some personal history of the site including events surrounding the earthquake. Definitely worth a stop for the education on their research and the beauty of the site, especially if you are interested in marine biology or hope to inspire a student!
