Very poor customer service . I accidentally left the wrong container out for pick up. Called to see if they would come back and pick up the correct garbage bin but they wouldn't come back. They get the town contracts so they could care less about customer service. read more

We sold our house and moved and Harter was the city arranged garbage collector. Because we had upgraded our cart we got a cart fee because "we didn't return the cart when we moved." The new owners were using the cart and Harters' went by weekly to pick up the garbage and could have taken the cart whenever they wanted. Instead they charged us for not "returning" the cart. How many people do you know return their garbage carts to the garbage collector, especially when the garbage collector provided the cart in the first place? Very poor customer service. read more

Always polite on the phone; they have gotten out of their truck to get my trash bin when someone had parked too close to it; I highly recommend their yard waste additional service (small annual fee) if you have trees that shed heavily, or a collection bag on your mower. Worst service I have ever experienced. Never know when or if they will come. Constantly miss pick ups or ignore full recycling container set at the curb! I've lived in cities across the country and I am speechless at the lack of professionalism! I'm a busy professional. Truly considering moving bc of them! read more

Have never had an issue with them. They are here every week no matter how bad the weather. Love the heavy duty carts they provided.
