In all the years we've been part of this school, I have yet to see a teacher or staff member without a smile. They are rooted in biblical principles each morning, and they lead by example. That spirit shows in the way they interact with the children and families. I came across a comment from another parent about a billing issue. While I'm sure it was simply a systems error that the school resolved appropriately, I don't believe one isolated incident should overshadow the countless good things this school has provided for our children. No school public or private is perfect, and both must cover costs to remain open. For perspective, public schools cost taxpayers around $25,000 per student each year. Yet, many parents at KCA are not only already paying those taxes, but also willingly investing in their child's foundation years here at less than a quarter of that cost. That sacrifice speaks volumes about the value this school provides parents and students alike. Give credit where credit is due. i am giving a 4 star review for newark public schools cause i was a substitute teacher for one…read moreschool year in 2005 during my finding my purpose in life phase and i loved the kids and faculty but the folks running the school not so much. the kids did not come from privilege backgrounds but they had a thirst for learning and it was a great challenge for the other teachers and i but it took a draining toll on me and my teaching phase went out of business after one school year. its not easy being a sub as i was not able to really teach world history but rather be a baby sitter for 7th graders. . i did have some benefical moments as the teacher i was subbing for was out for a month for personal reasons and i was able to have control of the class teaching about world war 1 and 2 to a room full of 35 students who for the most part were listening and learning. when i look back ,teaching in newark nj was not easy and i dont regret the experience and i tip my hat to all the teachers who do.

The staff and the manager are very professional and courteous and know the kids by their names. The center is always clean and the security is state-of-the-art. Their new web registration is a bit convoluted. I liked the old web registration better. However, whenever I need to make a reservation, I just call the center and do it over the phone. It's my way of bypassing the not so user friendly new web registration. I'll recommend the center to any friend of mine any day.
