SLA is progressive. one of a kind. im excited about what the future holds for my boy and thank SLA for giving him an advantage most are not lucky enough to have. Woodlynde claims to value equality and holistic education for all students. Our experience at the…read morehs level did not reflect those principles. They are rigid and inflexible. Rather than adapting to the unique need of a child, students are expected to fit within a predetermined box that fits the needs of administrators (&some teachers) more than the child. Since our child did not fit that box, there were incidents where our high schooler was treated unfairly. There was 0 consistency. More concerning, there was lack of support for students social/emotional well being. This culture starts with the Head of School. His leadership style comes across as egotisical and unwilling to consider other perspecitives.

She did a summer of camp (which compared to others is reasonably priced). She also goes for after school care during the school year. I would recommend this daycare to anyone in the surrounding care (of course as long as you have open communication).
