Thank you so much to Don Corson and his team Stacey, and Wendy! I can't say enough good things…read moreabout the law firm and couldn't hope for a better experience (other than not being hit by a truck!) I was injured in a car accident, discharged with a number of injuries, but then, I had no idea what to do! I didn't even know to call a lawyer for days, I was so confused at the time. I had memory, speaking, vision, and balance problems as well as impaired decision-making. In addition, I didn't know the first thing about my own injuries: if rehabilitation was available or effective, how I could pay for any of it, what the legal process was, and, my biggest fear, "would I ever be the same person again?" But from the moment that I spoke with Don and his team, I felt a massive weight lifted off of me and knew I that I was in good hands. They are professional, courteous, respectful, genuinely kind people, and they really cared. All of my questions were answered. Don was diligent about my case and kept me up to date regularly, but my injuries, my recovery, and my physical and emotional health (it takes a toll!) were always as important to Don as was financial compensation. Don is extremely knowledgeable about traumatic brain injury. He also knows what the permanent, and/or long-term effects may be. Such honesty, & empathy are vital for such a personal injury (especially one that other people cannot see.) Don and his team called to make sure I was doing well in-between visits. His expertise allowed me to get the care I needed for each and every problem and while I still have residual effects I'm still working on--the difference between then and now is night and day. Until now, I did not know that one's choice of a lawyer could affect the quality of one's life both today and in the future but that was the case! The Corson & Johns Law Firm helped me through a difficult, painful process with professionalism and great compassion and for that, I will be forever grateful.

I provided…read more"Viviana" at Shlesinger & deVilleneuve details for a claim against PeaceHealth (RiverBend) and Option Care Health for medical malpractice. Within 20 minutes or so I got a text saying it was a conflict of interest. I called and asked why. Viviana explained that "some of our CLIENTS use RiverBend so that would be a conflict of interest". At first, I thought I misunderstood. Incredulously, I confirmed she was talking about their clients... people like you and me... who might use RiverBend. I confirmed they are unable to represent anyone with a claim against RiverBend due to their made-up exclusion. So, who do they litigate if they can't litigate against the major hospitals? How much does RiverBend pay them to refuse cases, claiming a conflict of interest? IMO: Shlesinger & deVilleneuve is a scam and a blight on the legal profession.

Great customer service and business is it's own word of mouth. When I finally contacted them I was able to work with a lawyer named Emily, she seemed put out from the beginning. I didn't do much research before honestly but if I hand I would of never called them. First of all it took them a very long time to request my information, I had to finally follow up with THEM after three weeks. Then after I did reach someone I spoke to another lady who was actually rather pleasant and helpful. I wish I got her name she told me Emily had been out of the office so she would do the work of getting my information disc from the appropriate agency. Long story short Emily finally contacted me three weeks after receiving my information basically telling me I did the whole process wrong and that my doctors writing was very hard to read so she couldn't decipher anything. I guess reading hand notes is rather tasking. Bottom line I spoke to another firm that was very detailed, extremely helpful, and directed me on the right path. I should of took the reviews serious when people stated this firm is more worried about the payout rather then the actually incident or the pain and suffering that was involved!
