I'm so disgusted with Hardee Ford!!!! I've had my car here for over a month to be worked on. Not yet have they notified me about a loaner car or a rental that they are responsible for since my car is under a recall!! Nevermind that it could take till next year to get the parts they need!! They told me they are all out of loaner cars and would notify me as soon as one comes available. This dealership isn't worried at all about my NEEDS so I refuse to keep making payments on a car I can't even drive!!!! read more

My car has been in the service department for two weeks and they JUST looked at it to tell me it's no w gonna be EVEN longer of a wait and of course there are no loaner vehicles so I'm having to find rides to work and back and anywhere else I need to go. I had an appointment to get my car repaired and of course they don't see a record of that and said it took a whole day from the time the towing company picked my car up to get it to them. I got the excuse that they had a technician that decided not to show up for work and they are behind. Not my fault. read more

Worst experience with a car dealership ever! my car has been in their shop for over 3 months. backorder on engine they said and one of the owners did a good deed after three months and had them expedite getting my engine here. I have a warranty on this car.....a comprehensive warranty.... With a 100 dollar deductible. Asked several times "all I will have to pay is my deductible correct?" The answer was yes. I have heard nothing from them this entire 3 months unless I called for a status update and it would probably still be sitting there if I hadn't complained constantly. I call today because they said it was ready to tell them I was coming today to get it. The cost? 380.00! Absolutely not! Why? Some parts not covered under warranty. Well if the engine is under warranty shouldn't the parts be covered? Never again will I buy a vehicle from this place nor will any of my family, friends or anyone I can turn in the other direction. read more

I was in an accident on I-85 and needed a car as the Enterprise rental car was closed. Hardee Ford had an inexpensive vehicle that they marked down the price on so I could pay for it immediately and get back on the road without having to wait 2 more days for the Enterprise to open. The salesman picked me up at my hotel and drove me back to the dealership for a fast and easy transaction. Great service as I was an out of towner in a bind. I recommend these guys. read more

I recently bought my 2013 Ford Mustang from Hardee Ford of South Hill, VA. Kevin Smiley was the sales representative that helped me out and he really made the experience even more enjoyable. Not only did I love the car to start with, but his knowledge of the car really sold me on it. He knew every aspect of the vehicle which shows his passion for his job and his customers. He worked with me to ensure I got the best deal and rate possible. Kevin also has checked in with me since the purchase, to ensure I still love the car and to see if I have any questions. Went to Hardee Ford in hopes of getting my Ford Focus repaired. My focus had been burning/leaking oil for the last month. Took it there and was charged $300 for diagnostic fee. Which was just dumping a dye in the oil and telling me to drive it for 200 mile prior to bringing it back. Took it back and was informed it was the valve cover gasket. Was charged and additional $175 for the repair. I informed them that $475 for such a repair was steep. They knocked off $50 (wooo hooo right). They informed me they had to clean the oil and so on. I thought to myself as long as my car doesn't use oil i can swallow the high price. Well one week after getting my car I had to add two quarts of oil. So I returned the car to the dealership and told them I had the same issue. Four days later they call me and informed they can not find a leak!! That "it could be burning oil" but they couldn't be sure. The service manager asked me did it smoke smh and went on to say it's an 05 w/150000 and it could very well be burning oil. Thanks a lot after $500!! I told him my car is in the same shape it was in prior to me taking it there. Lyn (service manager) informed me he was sorry I felt that way and they try to help out all customers. Thanks for the help. Never again will I use their service or purchase a Ford. I have an Accord that has 300k never has it used any oil. I told him all I want is my car to be repaired . Lyn replies we have done all we can. I said thanks for screwing me out of $500!!
