As a party of 7, we had dinner here on May 26th, 2018. It wasn't too busy or packed and our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Howver, the food was subpar. One of our party ordered a medium-well burger and it came delivered medium rare. We ordered specialty drinks and they were terrible bacause of the inconsistency. One round would be too sweet, one round too sour etc etc. The bartenders clearly did not follow any type of drink recipe judging by the inconsistencies. I had the salmon and it was not very good. It was my first time at the hard rock cafe and it was such a great experience. Be sure to make a reservation otherwise you'll be waiting a while. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly. Seana was so friendly and helped up with her suggestions for food. The cafe is full of memorabilia. It is fairly loud but the playlist was perfect. We got the bbq buffalo cauliflower bites. The were so good by they are pretty spicy, get extra ranch or blue cheese. We also got burgers with the garlic parmesan fries. The fries were to die for! For dessert we got the apple cobbler, which is more than enough to share! read more

Visited the Hard Rock early Monday evening. I had some wings and a few draughts. Food and drink were fine. This review is for Scott who tended bar. This is an "ok" place to have dinner while at Foxwoods. It's nothing fancy, but it's not a completely casual place either. The menu is pretty decent, but pricey for what it is. I order a burger medium and it came out well done. The same for the steak for someone else in my party. With so many other choices at Foxwoods, I doubt that we will go back again. read more

While hanging out at the casino with friends we decided to stop here for dinner. We didn't have to wait at all before being seated. Our waiter was AWESOME! I wish I could remember his name! The reason I'm giving this review only 2 stars is because the drinks and servings seem awfully small for the price you pay. I get it, we are at the casino. But the "large" mason jar drinks were tiny. I was scared to see what a small would look like! The taste didn't even justify the price.... the burgers were pretty good. I think I will go somewhere else next time I'm at the casino. read more

Food was good but salty. Service was TERRIBLE. Came here for a quick dinner the first night of a weekend away in foxwoods. We had a party of 4, our server Stacey was awful. We asked for a shot, Dirty Bong Water, sounds disgusting I know but it's AMAZING! Then she came for a drink order, I asked if the bartender could make me a Grateful Dead, I was in a drinking sort of mood ;) Stacey opened the drink menu, put it in front of me and said, "Look at the drink menu, what we make is on here!" Hey rude pants, vodka cranberry isn't on the drink menu but I bet you guys make that, right?! I ended up getting a purple haze that I'm pretty sure was just grape juice and lemonade. Then she came to take our food order, my guy wanted something specific, he pointed to a picture on the menu and asked what dish that was and she said "I don't know, read it." Since his vision isn't excellent and the name of the dish was in tiny white font, I read it for him and he ordered his food. Stood in line 15 min to be sat in an almost empty restaurant, after being sat, we waited another 10 min and no one came over to us so we left. I could understand if it was busy but there were only 2 tables sat near us and we saw at least 5 servers walking around. read more

One word.... Horrible!! Went here last night for a late dinner, the bathrooms were filthy, no paper towels, toilets unflushed, really gross! We ordered the southwest spring rolls for an appetizer the were sliced up versions maybe 2 whole ones total, for over $12, my husband ordered a medium rare burger, came out well done, and I ordered the tupelo chicken tenders, which were tough, tasted like Tyson out of a box... the only decent part of the meal were the French fries.... truly disappointing meal, an awful ending to a fun night.... read more

Mehhhhh.....went here tonight quickly to stop for dinner with friends before bingo. We were sat then kind if ignored before a waitress freaked out and ran up to us asking if someone greeted us. By the time it waiter came he was nice...but we then ordered (2 salads and 2 burgers) it showed up it was easily a half hr later. It was not very busy at all....good was ok...nothing crazy for the price. Then when ready to pay, it waiter literally disappeared......we had to wait another 10 mins. Overall not impressed....would rather hit up the other places Foxwoods has to offer...I would recommend skipping this one unless you are just looking for a quick beer/drink. read more

We've been here a couple of times. The service and food has been consistent. I got the Chicken Club Sandwich and my wife got the Cobb Salad. My meal was very good and filling. My wife said her Cobb Salad was made a bit different than she is used to, more spinach than lettuce, in the end she said it was good. Our server was attentive and personable. read more

I have been a Hard Rock Cafe devotee for many years. Sorry to say the food at this Hard Rock was the worst. Our party of 9 agreed. Steak in the salad was tough and inedible. This is my second time here ordering take out and both times there were issues? First time was for my son and tonight was me.I ordered there nachos with no onions or jalapenos. Were at bingo my hubby went to pick it up..needless to say there were onions..i tried to call back difficult during bingo. Got the same girl who took the order to say it had onions..she asked what did i want to do about it? So i agreed for another go.. Took forever to make my poor hubby stressing doing two books and he thought a possible winner but didnt know couldnt keep up. When i get back open RD 2 no add on onions..but there are onions in the bean and tomatoe type dip they put on..if a customer stresses NO onions..you think the person taking order is knowledgeable in the menue?? Nope...will not be back..and if you call an order...be prepared to not understand the options..no number to place an order.. My hubbys burger was good he said..so it warrants the three star! Hard Rock Cafe has mediocre food. The money is spent on music components so don't expect a divine feast. You can probably read 10 or so plaques on the wall where you sit. Recommend sticking to the basic American style dishes or else one risks being disappointed. At this particular location the waiter tried telling us we wanted something different than what we asked for. Wings were a 6 out of 10 - Burgers were average. Saw some of the reviews and was really worried about coming here. It was completely empty when my group got here. The service that we got was really good, our waiter was Doug. I have never been to a Hard Rock Cafe before but have always heard raving reviews about them so I decided to eat here instead of anything else at the casino. I can say that after this visit it is very unlikely I will ever visit one again. It must be noted though that I came in with a party of 8 though, which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 star because I understand that big parties are more difficult. It started off with us sitting for 10/15 minutes without anyone coming to the table to ask about drinks or food. The waitress came over and was basically giving attitude, as if waiting on us was a bother. Then while the waitress was taking out orders I requested fries instead of chips to which I was told that could not be done so I instead had to order an entire side of fries for close to $5. Ridiculous. After ordering our drinks took another 5/10 minutes to come to the table even though they were mostly all sodas with only 2 milkshakes and the milkshakes were still another 5 minutes behind the sodas. When the food came it was all under seasoned and overlooked. Everything was ordered medium well and it all came well done or burnt. One of the entrees was also missing and we could not find a waiter to tell because they ann RAN away after dropping off food. At this point I also needed a drink refill so I had to GET UP and find a server to ask where the other entree was and for a refill as well. We finally got the last entree but still no sign of our server. Our server finally showed to take away the food which was good and we asked for the birthday sundae since it was one persons birthday. They brought the birthday person to the front and had everyone say happy bday which was cool but then the waitress disappeared once again...we were waiting 15/20 minutes for our check so we could leave. It took so long that we were seriously debating on just walking out. Needless to say I left only my change for the tip. Worst service I have ever received. I visited your restaurant on Monday night the 23rd. I made reservations and drove from Wilbraham Massachusetts for my daughters 22nd birthday! I told the reservation person it was her birthday and they said they would do something special. I told the person at door it was her birthday and please don't forget. I told the person bringing us to our table. He said he told the waitress. I waited and nothing...paid the check. We started to leave and I told the host that nothing was done for her birthday after numerous requests. He made me and my daughter wait by the stairs and she came over and a yelled happy birthday...it was so forced and awkward...well! Tucked away in a corner in the oldest section of Foxwoods in the Great Cedar hotel. Located near the Atrium bar and the buffet. Over the years wherever we are vacationing we always at least stop in for a drink at the local Hard Rock. I pretty much feel the same about this location as I do about every other location I've ever visited. Nothing horribly wrong and nothing overwhelmingly fantastic that draws me back here. Being the oldest hotel we never stay at the Great Cedar, we stay at the Pequot or Fox Tower. With so many places to eat and drink in between we rarely make it here anymore. The food is ok, I feel a little pricey for the portion size. I've never had anything here that is a must go back for item. Probably the best thing we enjoy here are some of the specialty coffee drinks, as a night cap. Unfortunately I'm always laminating the long walk back to one of the hotels. read more

I was truly surprised with the lunch here.. in a good way. We chose HR because we wanted to sit at the bar and have a few drinks along with our lunch. The HR bar was the only "happening" one. We ordered an odd combo of bruschetta and buffalo chicken tenders. Plus lots of booze. Honestly the food was very good and the service at the bar was outstanding. the boyfriend and i had a great dinner here on a recent saturday night. we were in the mood to nosh, but not in the mood to pay the prices at some of the more expensive options. so, we settled on hard rock, even though i'm not a huge lover of chain restaurants. considering it was a saturday around 7pm, we were expecting a wait. 30 - 40 minutes was doable, considering we were in a casino and there were a million things to distract us whilst we waited. the wait-time was accurate, and we received a text that our table was ready, right at 40 minutes. IDs are checked at the front entrance, even before you enter the restaurant. our server was very friendly, and attentive enough without being overbearing. i started with a southern rock, which is a mix of jack daniels, vodka, lemonade, and other deliciousness. there is a wealth of custom cocktails on the menu, as well as a large assortment of wine and beer. for food, we both got burgers. the boyfriend got the hickory barbecue bacon cheeseburger. it came with seasoned fries, and he added a side caesar to start. first, let me say- the caesar was a thing of beauty. the menu states that their dressings are house-made, and i believe it. one of the best caesar salads i've ever had (and i'm so glad he let me share!). he seemed very happy with his burger which came stacked with carmelized onions, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and hickory smoked bacon. i went with the tango burger, which was a definite indulgence for me. these are 2 petite patties that are covered in sloppy joes, topped with american, cheddar, and bleu cheeses, and finished with a horseradish mayo. i'll be very honest: the burger was delicious. this is exactly what you want to eat when you are starving, and possibly a few drinks in. that said, there was absolutely no bleu cheese or horseradish mayo. i'm not complaining, and i didn't say anything to our server, but they were definitely not on my burger. the seasoned fries that came with our burgers were hot, crisp, and satisfying. we requested a side of ranch dressing for dipping and, while the flavor was good, the texture was very watery. i also added a side of the citrus cole slaw to my meal. it was cheap ($1.80!), and had a nice though mild tang from the citrus, but it could have used a touch more of the dressing. overall, i'd say this is one of the best spots for value at foxwoods, if you're looking for a full-service, sit-down experience. our food was very good, as was the service, and atmosphere. just a bonus that they were playing music videos of metal bands from the 80s. i would certainly recommend, and will likely be back during a future trip to foxwoods. read more

This is a neat looking restaurant - the ceilings are sky high, the decor is cool and the music is great. We were there for a late lunch and despite being pretty much the only people in the place, the service was incredibly slow. Our appetizer - a huge plate of nachos - was good. Thankfully, because our sandwiches left much to be desired. Our kids barely ate any of their chicken fingers (a rarity for them to pick at their food) and neither my husband or I particularly enjoyed our sandwiches. Started with the jumbo appetizer, the wings were the only thing I actually enjoyed even though they aren't your typical buffalo wings. Seemed as if they dry rubbed, fried then added the wet buffalo sauce. Bruschetta was over loaded with cheese, had a cream cheese spread then the tomato mix then some more cheese on top. I was here with a friend (my 2nd time) for lunch & several drinks before heading down the road to Mohegan Sun for a concert. Both times I've been here the wait staff has been amazing. Big personalities & great service. The food is what you would expect for this type of venue. It's decent bar food. If you want fine dining, white linens & a snooty waiter, go somewhere else. This place is FUN. Maybe you have to be over 40 to appreciate all the memorabilia on the walls. This place is like a museum & I would have paid a cover for the thrill of experiencing all the great history here. My friend & I wandered the entire restaurant taking pictures of all the bands we grew up with and the staff ended up taking pictures with us also. I have another concert here Labor Day & I can't wait for my pre concert party with the staff of the Hard rock. read more
