After getting through the airport style security in about 10 minutes (budget more time if you have a reservation), we were seated almost immediately. Service was attentive and the Stella's were cold. Had the wings to start. Ordered them dry with the sauce on the side. Excellent. Had the Local Legend Burger as my main. It's a burger with sliced pastrami, swiss and pickles served on marble rye. Yes, I know it's a Hard Rock Café. Seen one ya seen 'em all. Yes, I know it's inside Yankee Stadium; So I wasn't expecting a bargain basement meal. But given the 2 above starting points, we were pretty happy with our meal. It was so hot today, we didn't want to sit in the sun and eat a hot dog. We wanted to get out of the sun and enjoy a sit-down meal. As we were standing around the concourse before the game, the line for the Hard Rock seemed alarmingly long. But early into the game, the line disappeared and there was a lot of tables open inside. The staff did a good job of moving the people along and getting you into a table fast. The dining areas are huge, tv sets all over to watch the game, nice professional servers. Our lunch consisted of a Veggie Burger ($15.50), a Honey Chicken Sandwich with fries ($13.50), a Small Caesar, ($6), 2 sodas ($3.75 each), and a Corona Light ($8.27). That's $55 for you scoring at home, less 10% for your AAA card !!. My veggie burger was very good- a tasty patty covered with a Portobello cap, sautéed onions, peppers and zucchini strips. Before the Yankee game my husband wanted to eat here for dinner so i agreed. so we were seated pretty quick which was cool and i began to look at the menu . First I'm tired of sandwiches and burger i said i wanted a entree . first we ordered the Hard Rock Nachos which were great but i was Little disappointed because the waitress said do you guys want guacamole and salsa we said sure then we noticed they charged us extra for a little cup of guacamole and salsa oh well . My husband wanted Hickory-Smoked Pulled-Pork Sandwich which was tender and juicy and smothered in BBQ sauce which he loved lol . I went for the Twisted Mac, Chicken & Cheese which had grilled chicken breast on top of the twisted cavatappi pasta tossed in a lightly spiced 3-cheese sauce, with garlic, roasted red peppers and Romano parsley bread crumbs Served with a side of garlic toast this was a favorite and will be my meal every time i come to Hard rock . We decided to have lunch here after the tour of Yankee stadium. I've never been to a Hard Rock Cafe! Never, not Las Vegas, San Francisco etc... I was impressed the waiter was very attentive and brought out or drinks and food quite quickly. We ordered the Legendary 10 oz. Burger it had topped bacon, cheddar cheese, fried onion ring, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. It was fresh and tasty. It came with string fries, they were nice and crispy! and The Cobb Salad had mixed greens,with a grilled chicken breast, avocado, tomato, red onion, seasoned bacon, Cheddar and Jack cheese and hard-boiled egg w/blue cheese dressing (your choice). My buddy won a Yankees ticket package at an auction and pre-game dinner at the Yankee Stadium Hard Rock, with a $100 credit, was part of the deal. So we went to the Stadium with a 5:00 reservation. There was a pretty long line waiting to get in. Turns out this is also the security to get into the Stadium, since you can enter the place directly from the Hard Rock. After a brief issue over the credit at the Host Stand, we were seated. From then on, everything was perfect. The manager came by to greet us and the server was right there. We gave her our drink order, which was a round of Stella, and asked her to keep them coming when she saw our glasses getting low. She did. We ordered food as well. We had an order of Wings, my buddy had a large burger & I had the chicken sandwich. Food came in good time and was surprisingly good, delicious in fact. I have been to this HR twice before and didn't remember the food being that good. The server kept the beer coming. I knew that after all that food, and 4 rounds of Stella, that with tax included, our credit had been used and then some. However, when we asked for a check, we were told it was all good. We both gave the server a generous cash tip, as her service had indeed been excellent. It was a good time before a good game. read more

We were super early for the game at 1pm and the line for the Monument Park was ridiculously long as everyone had the same idea. We ended up having brunch at Hard Rock Cafe then bumped into my fellow yelp friends Lisa R and Manny R and his adorable son. Holy moly the wait to be seated at a table for two was 40 mins long. Well this is my second time at a Hard Rock Cafe establishment. When we finally sat down, I quickly looked through the menu as my friend already knows what she is getting so I remember seeing Lisa R posted a picture of the Southwestern Chicken Flatbread. I got the Pepperoni Flatbread + Chimichurri Garlic Fries and Andrea G got the Veggie Leggie Burger + Parmesan Fries so that way we can try both of their delicious fries. I came here a couple of hours before a Saturday afternoon game with some apprehension. I was worried it would be a Times Square nightmare. Not so at all. This location is fairly new as it is in the New Yankee Stadium. I actually liked the layout of the interior, slightly modern and upscale. We entered a jammed restaurant with every seat taken in the dining room and at the bar. There was a 1.5 hour wait. Luckily, we were only there for drinks. We got a couple of seats near the bar and were quickly greeted by a waiter. He cheerfully took our order amid all of the chaos. He brought the drinks in a reasonable amount of time and promptly delivered the check. I couldn't really ask for anything more. The drinks (rum & coke, glass of wine) were all generous in size. I could try to hate this dopey chain establishment, but they did a good job by us. read more

This cafe is located inside Yankee Stadium, though it can be accessed from the exterior and you don't need to be attending an event to visit. I was already inside the stadium when I noticed this HRC. It was easy to get in; you just get a stamp on your hand for re-entry. I collect HRC pins and their selection did not disappoint. Since you can enter the stadium through the restaurant, the stamp allows you to bypass the line and get right back into the stadium. That being said, if you're coming here just to shop, I'd recommend entering though general stadium gate and visit HRC afterward. read more

I'm not usually a Hard Rock fan, and try to avoid them while traveling. However, I was here for the Yankees vs. Cubs exhibition game and scooted into the Yankee Stadium Hard Rock around the 7th inning. Heads up - get into the Hard Rock via the inside stadium entrance before the 7th inning. Otherwise they close that entrance off and require you to leave the stadium and go through the Hard Rock's external entrance, which, by that time has a nasty line. Stuck to Jack Daniels on the rocks, but the food being served around me looked and smelled good. Sundaes were impressive. There's quite a bit of Beatles memorabilia, including a pair of John Lennon's sunglasses. Subtle, not too overwhelming and gaudy like HR can sometimes be. Bathrooms were a bit smallish. read more

I used to meet friends at "The Bat" at the old stadium. This is now our meeting place before games. This is your typical HRC with rock n roll memorabilia everywhere, with some Yankee ties as well. Prices are pretty reasonable for appetizers and burgers - $10-$12. The beer is awfully pricey, an 8 to 10 ounce draft was $9.00 Ouch! But then again, what isn't pricey at Yankee Stadium? They have a nice outdoor patio that serves beer to a certain point in the game. Once you enter the stadium you can go into the restaurant, get your hand stamped and go to the patio to have a cigarette if you are a smoker. I recently visited this Hard Rock location for the first time ever. I'm in Yankee Stadium all the time, however, I never really had a reason to visit the Hard Rock until recently. It was 92 degrees outside (real feel of about 105 or so) and way too hot to be sitting outside, watching the game. So I took my ticket and wandered into the Hard Rock to cool off for a bit. This location appears to be very cramped. The bathrooms only have 2 stalls, the merchandise area is literally only a table with some t-shirts, there is a seated area with plenty of tables but not much space, and the bar is a decent size and round with plenty of TVs to watch the game. The bar is where we spent the time we were there. The bartenders are fast and friendly but the prices are still that of typical stadium prices. I did not get to try the food but I have a feeling I'm not missing out considering I've been to other Hard Rock locations and they were not that great. I wish this location was a bit bigger but considering it's part of a stadium, you can't complain too much. They also have a patio area and a staircase but I'm unsure if there is additional seating upstairs. I would love to visit again one day when there isn't a game going on, just so I can experience the restaurant itself. read more

Came in a full two hours before an NYCFC game. It took forever. We missed the first ten minutes of the game. I have no idea why they were so slow. The staff was nice.... They comped us desserts (which is not what we needed, we were trying to leave not stay longer!). Food was mediocre at best. Nachos were decent but the burgers were like hockey pucks. Two stars (instead of 1) only because the chef and staff was apologetic about it taking so long. If you come, my advice would be to sit down and order immediately. read more

Had Sunday night dinner while the Yankees were on the road. Got seated quickly, served quickly, and our server Stefanie was both genuinely helpful and entertainingly delightful even as she was pushing a poor retail selection when compared to other Hard Rock Cafes. The food was fantastic... but it makes me wonder how good it would have been if the team had been home or the Cafe more crowded, because it really was quite empty. Empty is good though, because I got some nice shots of the uniqueness of the Cafe. Love the Anthrax memorabilia on the wall, especially the photo of Scott Ian with Public Enemy by the bathrooms. Overall it was a 5 star experience on a non-game day. No guarantees what will happen on a game day. read more

NICE!!! This is a cool place to hit up before the game. I love the decor and the shrimp Fajitas were delish! The decor features different celebrities items, including pictures of celebs with a Yankee cap on. My favorite is the Jay-Z pic! My waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the ingredients in the menu items. This benefited us because we have food allergies. I really had a great time here. I was surprised to find a Hard Rock here at Yankee Stadium. I liked that it offered a sit down resturant at the stadium. In fact, you can come and go during the game until the 6th or 7th inning. The food is typical Hard Rock. I was graving a steak which was tasty after a day sight seeing around the Bronx. Service was friendly and quick. I visited this Hard Rock during my most recent trip to NYC and Yankee Stadium. My boyfriend and I toured Yankee Stadium and had a wonderful meal here afterward. My experience here was great from start to finish. I had actually called two weeks in advanced hoping to make a reservation. The Operations Manager Ralph informed me then that they usually don't take reservations, but during the time we were planning on coming they usually weren't busy. He told me over the phone that he would personally ensure that my boyfriend and I would be in and out as fast as possible the day of our visit. I was already very pleased with the restaurant and I hadn't even visited yet! When we walked in the doors the day of our visit, we were actually greeted by Ralph (which was actually quite funny!) As promised, the place wasn't all that busy and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was good, nothing spectacular or anything. We both ordered specialty drinks and both were excellent. Our food was equally as good. I ordered the twisted mac and cheese and my boyfriend ordered the NY strip steak. Very good, as usual. What really made our visit here so special was the two employees working in the rock shop. They were just so sweet, funny, and personal. We spent probably 15 minutes just talking to them! This Hard Rock has your typical food, drink, (prices!) and atmosphere, but what really sets this one apart is the staff! They were just excellent and I can't speak enough of them! I visited the Hard Rock Café Yankee Stadium on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 415 pm. I went there prior the game beginning of the game to make a reservation. I asked the gentleman at the door what is a better way to make a reservation , he stated we would have to stay on line . The line was long and not moving . I decided to call and the young lady on the phone was very helpful. She told us what website to go to . I then went on the phone and did so. I was very disappointed to find when entering the place it was not very handicapped accessible. Yes there is a ramp outside to get to where the restaurant is but that is about it . I am disabled and I use a scooter. To my surprise the bathroom was probably my biggest issue. It is eye raising to know there are only two stalls for such a reputable place as this . The bathroom is super small . I barely got into the bathroom comfortable. This is something that has to change !!!! . There was such a line of women waiting to use the bathroom . This is unacceptable. Also the table are so close and on top of each other . Also making it hard to maneuver with my scooter. I like dining at Hard Rock Café but the Yankee Stadium Location has to change !!!!!!! The Hard Rock Café located near 42nd is much better. read more

What a way to enter Yankee stadium. The only way in my opinion. I wanted to have a drink and smoke a cigarette. More so, I didn't want to wait on that long line. David K and I were ready to watch some baseball. First, I needed a beer. The outside bar was just starting up and there seemed to be some confusion with the register. The people working there seemed to be having a good time, which I always like to see. After my beer and smoke, we went inside. Pleasantly we found seats at the bar. I ordered a shot of tequila. David K and I shared the appetizer sampler. Waitstaff were quick and attentive. They hold your card which is fine, but my bank statement was weird because they debit a dollar and then credit a dollar? What is this madness? I guess they tap your account to make sure you have money and then credit it later? Eh just a heads up that it does come back if you see it on your account. In short, this is the ONLY way I'd enter the stadium. A good drink and decent bar fare. Also this may be the only full bar in the stadium. Do it! read more

I've been to this location a couple of times to eat either before or after a game. This visit was after the game and there were a few things worth noting. Let's start with the good, the food. The menu is diverse and the food is good. My vegetarian wife even had a "burger" albeit composed of cauliflower but she enjoyed it. The beef burgers are on point as well, cooked to order. So ,why just three stars then? It's a good question and almost always comes down to service for me. First, the kitchen is always slow. If the Yankees played the way this kitchen moves food, games would last 6 hours and they would lose a lot...nevertheless that shouldn't be a surprise and if you come to this location in a rush, shame on you. We sat down and there was a big counter card advertising the rewards club. It said to join NOW to get a free entree when you buy one. Never a person to miss a deal, I begin to go through the steps of downloading the app, registering, getting an email to validate the account, validating the account, etc...only to be told by the server that the free entree is for my next visit. But I show her the promo that has words like "now" and "today" and no clear verbiage about the offer being good on the next visit, I mean why do that? She gives me the proverbial shoulder shrug but does tell her manager who comes over and has the same conversation with me. After a little too much back and forth about how the message is confusing at a minimum and misleading at the most, he offers to honor the promotion. I thank him, we move on. We order the aforementioned great food and I ask for onion rings instead of fries. The waitress says "no problem" and nothing else....guess where this is going....I get the bill and see a $3.50 substitution charge for what was 6 onion rings (really, I counted) in a bowl. No mention that there'd be a charge and I did not see any cool fine print on the menu. But wait, there's more. We also ordered the brownie sundae which is also amazing, again the food is on point. The dessert menu the server gives me says it is $8.50 but the full menu says $10.50. Which price do you think I was charged? CORRECT! So, I was already worn out by the hey, could you honor the free entree ordeal that I just paid the bill and chose not to go after the other $5.50 but it really does leave a bad taste in my mouth which is unfortunate given how delicious the actual food was. read more

The variety of hamburgers is outstanding. After bites of these gigantoid beefy angus burgers you would think to hit a grand slam out of the park yourself! Arriving for the game Vs Angels, 2 hours early, we went to catch a bite. We sure had enough time...The service was as expected in a gameday of peak season bball. Honestly expected none got none gave none. Ordered 4 burgers: 1 Kimchee Burger, 1Jambalya New Orleans Burger, 1 All American Burger and 1 I cannot remember anymore but it was a burger burger...whether you know me or do not, anyways the point is if you get my drift, the burgers were unanimously, awesomely, delicious! Definately not your under 10 bucks 5 minute fast food burger!Holy cowbutt a bit unanimously...much (warning: food coma alert!) Cannot say I have seen anyone finish one whole gigantic burger in yesterday's very lively crowd... Technically waited more than "estimated" cooking time for our order-35 minutes and we ordered at the inside bar due to "more than an hour wait" for a table inside for a party of 5 (4 adults one toddler). Everyone was having so much fun including the servers, which i also like that they were having some fun while working...that we all forgot those burgers were ready already at the inside bar and was told by another server that inside bar orders are to be paid myself. Although promised by two different, (not same one) servers that they would bring the order by the outside bar tables, "even though they werent ordered at the outside bar"...it seemed forever definately more than 35minutes until we got those burgers! Came here tonight before the game. Was quoted 40 minutes but it took about 20. They have a great kids menu and for dinner and a drink it was $7, which is much appreciated in NYC. The kids meal selected was a pizza on a soft tortilla, maybe not the fanciest pizza, but it did the trick, especially for the price. For me, I ordered the atomic burger MR and it was pretty darn food. Now, I have to call out our amazing server Elise. She took the time to listen to a story from my young guest even when she was extremely busy. She checked in more than once and remembered every special request (extra mayo, side of honey mustard).
