Went to the Yankees v Red Sox game 3 of the wild card game last night . We got here early so decided to fetch food from here BEST DECISION OF THE NIGHT . The drinks are very well made I got a gin and tonic it came in a huge glass it was delicious. Smoked old fashion was good as well. The food was surprisingly good I wasn't expecting it. We came in here during the Yankees game for happy hour and sat right at the bar. It was crowded and that was a plus. Our server Jamal was awesome. For their happy hour menu it was selected apps for $8/$10and selected drinks for $5- $7. I got a whisky sour and some boneless buffalo wings. The drink was good but the wings sucked. As an avid baseball fan, we catch a game a every year. Rather than wolf down your food standing or at your seat, it's great to visit a nice sit down place like the Hard Rock. The location is next to the main entrance, so it is extremely loud and we always have to almost yell at each other to carry the conversation. You have to wait for seat, as they are extremely disorganized. 2 hours before the game we were in line for over 1 hr to get seated. And the restaurant was at 50% capacity. I spoke with the manager and he got the entire line seated. Food is always good. But has very little vegan or non meat options. Alcoholic drinks are okay, but hap hazardously made to lose the taste. We came during lunchtime when it was only two other groups of people in the restaurant so everything went very smoothly. We were greeted by the friendly hostess and quickly seated. The atmosphere and interior is very similar to other Hard Rock Cafes, but it is a chain so no harm in that. We've been to Hard Rock Cafe's all over the world and this location might be one of our worst experiences. Even being empty on a non-game day service was pretty much non-existent. The seaters and servers seemed like they didn't want to be there and everything just took forever. Food wasn't great - it's got the Hard Rock menu standards but it felt almost like a knock off restaurant was cooking them. Even something simple like the chicken on my salad was overcooked to the point of being almost hard. Drink refills were non-existent and the restrooms were messy even though no one was there. The uniqueness of the location and the memorabilia make it worth a visit for the die hard hard rock or Yankees fan, but I wouldn't return again. read more

We went here waiting for them to let us into the Yankee stadium, just wanting to find a nice place to sit and ended up ordering food. Service was amazing, friendly and quick and to the point. We ordered the smash burger with fries and the Hot honey chicken sliders (on the appetizer menu) and the food was incredible all around. Fast too considering how busy they were. 2 meals and a soda came to around 45$ which didn't even seem ragingly overpriced to me. So glad we ended up stumbling in before the game read more

We've been trying for weeks to get reservations and gave up. We went to the game early and just happen to ask if there was any chance of getting in. They said "of course!" and we were in! Could be the Yankees were doing so bad the HRC was slow... The hostesses were happy and kind, the wait staff was quick and impressive and we were not rushed to leave. By far the best Hard Rock I've ever had in NY and Spain. Service was friendly and efficient. All questions were answered in a timely manner and with a smile. Location is clean and well decorated. The bartender was awesome! The strawberry lemonade with mint could be a little more sweet. It was very tart but the bartender was very attentive and sweet, he brought us several shots of sugar/simple syrup to help the lemonade out. The food was absolutely delicious, I'm always used to cold and tasteless food. This was the complete opposite. We had the impossible (veggie) burger, the ribeye and another burger. And I actually thought my veggie burger was meat, it was delicious and well made. The fries and other sides were delicious, and the brownie dessert was decadent. My experience was AMAZING!! Loved it the minute we walked in; we were treated amazingly, we sat down at the bar, the people who took care of us, really took care of us. I felt they were genuinely (from our perspective) such a great group working behind the bar. We laughed, they gave us some directions and that's already said enough, here what we had and how it went First amazing I had a tropical margarita. Sweet delicious, you could taste the alcohol yet the sugar distracted you from the punch. Second of casamigos. Filled almost to the top. Third those buffalo wings, and here is where the magic started. Actually we had the margarita come with the wings and those wings came out PRONTO, they did not linger in the kitchen. They were cooked so well. If you want spice you got it, right amount of sauce not to the point where you see more sauce than chicken but it was present. They serve it with celery, I missed the carrot yet nonetheless, good stuff and it made me want to come back to try many more things, it's like when you wished you bought that one product at the store and you have to rush back to get it. Purchased stadium tours, they told us to wait at the central bar area inside hard rock. Sat down for a good 25 mins before someone came up to tell us our kids can't sit there. We can, but our kids can't. 1. We were directed and told to sit there. 2. We still haven't been offered to order a soda or drink. We got up and moved to a table, as directed- and still no drink or food order. Horrible first impression, we weee here yesterday and sat and ordered food and was slow service as well. Had a wonderful lunch with my wife after taking the Yankee Stadium tour Tuesday. The food was very good and love all the memorabilia.

It may be better to watch the game here. I visited Yankee's Stadium on the 4th of July for the Yank vs the Blue Jays. . . unfortunately, the Yankees lost. For this game, it was extremely hot and it did not help that we had bleacher seats which are conductors of the sun's intense heat. After believed that I was entering the late stages of dehydration and the early stages of heat stroke, I wandered to the Hard Rock Cafe to cool off and to have a cigarette (or three). I have been to this stadium many times, but I've never visited the Hard Rock Cafe. Ok, my mind was blown. Keep in mind that I may have been dehydrated, and at that point looking at a fire hydrant would have made my day. Maybe I went at the right time (top of the 5th) but I was able to find a seat right at the bar but the restaurant, itself, was not too crowded. The restaurant is awesome for the following reasons: 1. The temperature is cold. 2. You do not have walk 80 million miles to get a cocktail. I'm more of a liquor drinker than a beer drinker. Plus, they serve frozen drinks. 3. You can see the game. The view may be better on TV than your struggling seats. 4. The staff is fun. I forget the name of the female bartender, who was working on the 4th of July, but management needs to keep her around. 5. Oh, you can smoke outside. Like any other type of chain restaurants, the food is pretty standard. I had the nachos and there was nothing amazing about them but they were ok. The prices are a little high but you are in Yankee Stadium, so you already have prepared to spend a few bucks. I believe my frozen margarita was around 17 bucks. Wait, why would I want to see the game in the actual stadium? Note: You will not have entrance back into the stadium after at the 7th inning. Since it was so hot outside during my visit, I was not disappointed with this rule. Matter of fact, the bartender warned me that I was getting close to the cutoff time for reentry into the stadium. My response: Screw it, send me another one of those frozen margaritas. read more

We visited on Aug 26th whilst visiting New York, we have visited HArd Rock Cafes all over the world now but the reception we received from Rob Robanowski at the Yankee Stadium was fantastic, he went out of his way to look after us and entertain us all afternoon. It was the warmest reception we've ever received in a hard Rock and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was amazing, all the staff very courteous and Rob even played some music we requested to top off our visit - cannot recommend highly enough !!! read more

Steak was good, salad was beat up...not sure how fresh the lettuce was. My sons pizza looked like it was just thrown together. But he ate it at that is what matters.
