I was anxious about getting the grill and called the store 3 different times to check on the order. I indicated that it should be fully assembled and delivered to the freight ferry (there are no cars/vehicles where I live for the summer). I called on Friday to check and it was there but in the warehouse. I called shin on Monday to check on it again to make sure it was being assembled and was told it would be finished and delivered to freight ferry yet Monday or Tuesday. I called on Tuesday late in day because I hadn't gotten notice from the freight office that it was being delivered. I was told it was all ready to go Today, Wednesday I got notification from the freight office that I was receiving a box. I called the store to find out what was going on and they told me that I didn't ask to have it assembled! I did on the order form and in each of the phone calls I made. While the persons I have talked to have always been polite, a grill in a box is NOT WHAT I ORDERED. And, why I gad to wait three days before I was shipped the box is still a mystery!! They offered no remedy to fix the issue. It was just My Problem! I will be doing no further business with Costello's Ave Hardware EVER! Today I had an issue with my car, and was unable to get the correct part to fix it in time to get my car home today. I walked over to here and told the employee what I was trying to fix, and how I was planning to do it. I wish I got his name, because he helped me find what I needed, gave me some different options and methods on how to fix my issue, and was overall very helpful. You can imagine that I wasnt in the best mood having to fix my car on the side of the road, but he definately helped make today less terrible. Honestly this is the vibe i get every time I come in here. The employees seem to actually enjoy helping, and seem to enjoy their jobs. You just dont get that everywhere, and for me it makes a big difference.
