Mouth-watering and efficiently delivered, they keep good hours for both the busy socialite and the 'I'm too tired to cook tonight' family! There are often special meal-deals available, especially reccomend keeping an eye out for the Early Week Special whereby a large pizza is a lot cheaper if ordered Mon-Weds. Delivery is usually well within the 30 minutes they quote, sometimes so quick I've barely had time to make a cup of tea after phoning! So all in all, not a cheap option but a very quick, convenient and tasty option for a treat!

The service is excellent, friendly and polite. The prices are very reasonable, and the waiting time is always swift (you can phone ahead to speed things up even more). There is an extensive menu, and the staff are always happy to explain anything you're unsure about, and make reccomendations. Each order I've ever had comes complete with complimentary poppadom, salad and Bombay Potato. The portions are generous and filling, and really hit the spot. They do a range of starters, then main courses of Tandoori, Kurma, Masala, Jalfrezi, Biriany and Balti, plus Chef's Specials. Plus an extensive Curry list ranging from the very mild Kashmir to the firey hot Phall. There are special vegetable dishes, all the side dishes you could wish for - and a very small selection of English dishes for those not able or daring enough to try the spicy. Around twelve quid gets you a take-out for two of one main course plus rice each. Really good value.

These days is a brightly lit, clean and generically decorated chippy run by a Chinese family, so it has the added benefit of an extensive Chinese take-away menu as well. Their chips are great - fresh, fluffy and properly cooked. The portions are good-sized, and the fish is always fresh. A portion of chips and curry sauce with a pea fritter along with battered jumbo sausage and chips will come to under a tenner and be worth it! (Not that I'm saying that's our regular order junk food of choice..but..have been known to indulge!) On the Chinese side of things, their Prawn Curry is highly reccomended. It might lack the finesse and extra delicacy of a fancy restaurant curry but for a take-out it's really tasty and hits the spot. Good value, good grub, friendly service.

The woman on the phone was incredibly rude, she refused to believe that she had made a mistake in the order saying that we had got it wrong! She the tried to make us pay for another chow mein. I could not believe how rude and cocky she was. After speaking to the manager and making a complaint we did get the rice swapped for a chow mein but by that time everything had gone cold and was not an enjoyable meal. Won't be going back!

The foyer has a fish tank, reminiscent of restaurants in the Far East - although the fish here are not for eating! We had the mixed vegetarian starter for 3 people (£9.90 per person) to start. This included spring rolls, samosas, "vegetarian chicken" skewers (made of tofu), deep fried onion rings and deep fried seaweed. The spring rolls and seaweed were very tasty, but the onion rings were a little bland. The "vegetarian chicken" is an acquired taste (or rather, texture) - but certainly interesting. For our mains my partner had stir fried chicken with cashew nuts, and I had stir-fried tofu with cashew nuts (with generous quantities of tofu). With this, we had a portion of stir-fried vegetables. In hindsight, we should have gone for a spicier option, as we found the dishes to be perfectly edible, but rather bland - surprising for Chinese cuisine. The overall bill with drinks and service came to £30 a head, which was good value. Service was efficient and friendly. I'm sure we'll be back - it is a favourite of a friend of mine - but next time we'd go for one of the spicier or sweet & sour options.

I've only been in there for a take-away so can't comment on the service in the restaurant. However I can say it's smartly decorated chinoiserie themed, and the waiting area for take-aways is the same as for in-house tables - very comfortable and luxurious. Prices aren't cheap, and there's a bit of a wait for the food to be prepared but the quality is very superior and the portion sizes are good. The sort of place you'd go for a treat!
