I ordered this online a week before I needed it. Super easy check out process online. Upon arrival the store was empty and clean on a Saturday afternoon. They have a large selection of toys, food, and treats to choose from. It is kind of tempting to pick up everything haha. A lot of the toys were way overpriced though. A handful of toys were listed for $9.99+ but I can find for $3.99-$5.99 online or at TJMaxx. Same exact toys too. Their pastries and biscuits on the other hand were all so cute and perfect I almost got a little bit of everything. I love the fact that they were super accommodating and allowed me to get half pound biscuits in a variety of flavors in separate bags. Check out was fairly easy. They didn't need the order number for the cake. Instead they asked for the dogs name which was actually very shocking yet a lovely touch considering this is a Barkery. The cashier told us how to reserve the cake until we were ready to give it to our birthday boy and how long the biscuits can last for which was helpful. Upon check out we were also offered a free 1/2 pound of biscuits as a birthday gift which is super generous. Overall I would highly recommend The Barkery. They have a large selection of pastries and biscuits online and in stores. Personally, ordering online and picking up in stores was a breeze and we will probably do this again. You will literally be in and out in seconds if it's already paid for. The birthday boy loved everything and so did the other dogs at the birthday party!! The owner/trainer of this facility is not a good person. Don't take your dogs here…read more We tried to take our 5 mo old puppy to a class here. He is a big puppy, around 43 lbs when we brought him. We had our puppy for a month at this point and know that he always barks at new dogs until he gets to smell them. He has never shown any sign of aggression (growl, snarl, showing his teeth, etc.) and is actually very submissive when playing with other dogs. When our pup saw the other dogs for the class, he barked at each of them to say hello and couldn't wait to play. When we met the trainer, our puppy barked to say hello (again, this is normal behavior for him, just a vocal dog). We were turned away at the door because our pup was too big, too "dominant", and too "aggressive". Without even working with our dog, he immediately said we need to get bitter apple spray and a pronged collar for him. To top it off, he said "your dog has a chemical imbalance in his brain". Incredible rude and uncalled for given that we just met him and he doesn't know us or our dog. I tried contacting the facility after this to get my deposit back and they have not responded to any of my calls or emails. This place is just not run by kind or honest people. There are better training facilities. We are now working with a trainer who took the time to meet our dog and understand him. She loves our puppy and commonly "jokes" about how he's so smart and sweet she wants to take him home. He's a wonderful, very trainable, very sweet boy. If you are looking for positive reinforcement training, this is not the place to go. If you have a big dog, this is not the place to go. If you value the trainer caring about your dog, this is not the place to go. Just don't go here.

I thought the owner must have the magic touch. I WAS VERY WRONG. On August 20th, I was asked to meet another pet parent. I was in the daycare that early morning, with CJ the owner and a few other dogs including my own. CJ retrieved a drop off mixed breed dog from outside and CJ's attitude and personality completely changed before my eyes. This 70 pound mixed breed, was treated horribly (not going to go into nasty details, as CJ's behavior was totally unacceptable). The dog got yelled at outside, inside and when I confronted CJ, I was told not to get involved by CJ since I didn't see what this dog did the day before. Regardless of what a dog did the day before, the dog has no idea why you are treating him so poorly, the following day. CJ told the dog to sit, in a screaming manner. He then left the room. The dog got up and CJ took a mop and swung it over her head as hard as he could against the wall. The mop didn't touch the dog, it was a scare tactic. CJ was so quick to pick up that mop, you can tell this wasn't his first time using this method of getting a dog to listen to him. I immediately took my 9 month old pup out of that daycare and filed a complaint with Lowell Animal Control and MSPCA. I was told by the investigator, 2 other complaints were filed during an 8 day time frame. If CJ treats a dog so poorly in front of customer, imagine what goes on when the pet parent is not around. Close this place down and take your dogs out of there. Reason for delay in review = I was directed to hold off on posting any review until the investigations were closed.
