This restaurant is a disaster in so many ways. I'm one of those people that really think that service is a big part of an eating out experience. When necessary it could even kind of compensate for mediocre food. The service at meerbar can unfortunately not compensate for anything whatsoever. None of the waiters seem to he trained in their profession. The service is extremely slow and they don't even know the basics of how to serve people food. The food itself is ok but nothing more. The restaurant features very tasty dishes and well selected beverages. While the food quality is superior (I highly recommend the sole and the salmon) it's all too obvious that the hotel owner cuts corners with the service.
