Really?! Fast Food can be happy? See the picture for proof [eggroll with mustard smile]. And, Jimmy Durante's song "Make Someone Happy" pops in my head, so I have to try the place. It is my Yelp non-profit-for-me duty. Surprise, the food is mediocre for this small place in a below par strip mall in a downscale neighborhood with lots of apartments. The menu selections are typical. The food looks like short cuts have been taken, as is typical in most Chinese restaurants these days. Photos of the dishes are pasted on the window for prospective customers, but the photos are not that enticing. But I like the name of the place. How nice of the owner to pick an upbeat name, instead of the computer-generated random 2 or 3 word mix of imperial, empress, garden, etc. pum, pum, Pum pum, pum, Pum Make eggroll happy, Make just one eggroll happy, ...

The food was pretty good and portion size was great. Service was speedy and clean. It's a small restaurant but still big enough for Groups & family

Good Food! Cheap price! Mom and Pop establishment that only serves food to-go. It's best to order before you get there as it usually takes 15 -20 min to get your food if it's not busy. I think this place maybe better than Happy Lamp that's is down the street. If your looking for Chinese to-go Give this place a try and see for yourself.

You never have to ask for extra shrimp in your fried rice. Like most places. It's loaded with shrimp.

I stopped by for lunch on a weekday and it was fairly empty/ not busy! As it was just me, I only…read moreordered one meal so I can't speak for anything else besides the sliced beef udon. The menu was quite expansive but cohesive with Italian/ Asian fusion. I got seated and immediately was given a menu and cold water in a stainless steel cup. I ordered the sliced beef udon soup version (there's also an option for stirfy) but granted, today was cloudy and slightly windy so it called for soup. After placing my order, I was given the proper utensils and shortly after, a large piping bowl was placed in front of me! Flavor was good and the sliced beef was addicting.. the portion was a bit much for lunch to me so I had to ask for togo and the waitress came out and put it away for me in a custom togo bag that sealed so that was fun to leave with. The waitress was certainly very tentative and made sure other guests had their waters filled at all times so I'd love to come back to try out their other menu items like their omurice or their lobster creamy rice. Location: in the Dun Huang Plaza across from HMart. The parking is shared with many of its neighbors but if you plan it right, you'll be able to snag a spot close by and walk less than a minute. Price: $14 before tax and tip (ended up around $18 afterwards)

The restaurant is cute and clean. The calamari ended up being a lot more than we expected. It was only okay, slightly crispy but also a bit dry. The variety of sauces was a nice touch. The also got the satay beef udon, which was a dry pasta dish. This was comfort food in a nutshell, something not particularly spectacular but still tasty. It had a good portion of meat and the noodles were nice and chewy. Probably should have tried some of their other more popular dishes or come in more hungry. Portion sizes were quite large, so had plenty of leftovers despite not ordering that much.

I visited this restaurant since someone in my group wanted crab noodle soup. The funny thing is he…read moredidn't even end up ordering that dish though as he got temped by another entree. Their menu consists of apps (mostly fried), soups and salads, lobster dishes, steaks, vietnamese seafood dishes, shellfish entrees (clams, scallops, etc), an oyster section, stir fry dishes, rice creations, and fried seafood dishes. They serve beer and wine but have some Asian wine-based cocktails. This is truly a fusion restaurant since they have Vietnamese, American, Chinese, Thai, and Peruvian influences on their menu. They have boiled seafood, of course, including crawfish during the season. On every table is also a $12.95 lunch menu with soups, sandwiches and seafood dishes. This may be one of the better deals out there. We tried a few dishes: drunken lobster, surf and turf, crab fried rice, drunken tofu, and shrimp with salted egg. Two additional people in our group came a little later and actually ordered the lunch special (pork chop plate) and chicken wings. Their napkins are a little strange as they're tri-fold style like you would normally see in a restroom. The dishes were pretty good, but I ended up eating mostly noodles since their garlic noodles are pretty addicting. The sirloin that came on the steak dish was supposedly a little tough but that is typical of a basic sirloin steak. I didn't actually get to sample it since other people grabbed it before I could. They only had L and XL size lobster the day we came...so they said their prices were around $90 and $108...I think we selected the $90 size. The drunken lobster dish can be shared between 2 people as it's a big platter but just 1 cut up lobster. The garlic noodles beneath the lobster pieces on the drunken lobster are way better than the noodles beneath the shrimp and steak on the surf and turf since they are stir-fried with lots of onions, jalapeños and what seemed to be small ground pork/beef chunks.

I went here because I saw the garlic noodles online they looked really good, so I was tempted to…read morecheck it out I ordered the garlic noodles with the surf and turf. The steak was a little tough.....sliced really thin with 3 shrimp on top. I put a picture on here for reference. It didn't look super tasty but it wasn't too bad. I asked for them to make it spicy, it was spicy and I feel like I'm still on the search for a better garlic noodles. The drunken wings were really good. The truffle fries were good. They also had happy hour when I went happy hour is every day from 5 to 7...even on the weekend. I went on a Saturday Also during happy hour oysters are a dollar I did not get any. The duck look really good. The duck is prepared to order. It takes about 45 minutes. A few orders of that went out. Will probably go back. Customer service was cool. Dennis is the best. Thanks for taking care of me.
