I can't rave enough of this place, the burgers here are to die for. If you are like me who loves smash burgers go no further they got you covered. We went here for Mother's Day lunch and had a fantastic meal. We ordered their cheese burgers, double cheeseburgers, Cajun and regular waffle fries. The food was outstanding. The pattie was perfectly smashed, grilled and the meat quality was too good. Super moist yet crispy at the edges perfect smThe waffle fries were a piping hot and delicious. My daughter tried their crispy chicken sandwich on a potato bun topped with lettuce and their house sauce. It was pretty good but I would stick to the beef burgers for sure. They have super cute little shop with a window serving food. You go in and order and they are a few tables outsides. Lots of street paid parking right in front of the places. They definitely are at the top of their game. I hope they continue serving delicious burger . The staff is very friendly and helpful.

My favourite smash burger!! Cooked to perfection every single time. I always order the Cajun waffle fries to spicy it up. Service is quick and it's a takeout spot with few tables outside for you to grab a quick bite.

Ordered a late night burger to my hotel room on my recent stay in Toronto. I came across this place in Yelp. The burgers looked very tasty, and it held up nicely, even after a bike ride to the Marriott next to the Blue Jays stadium. I have no reference for what the brick and mortar shop looks like, but would definitely check these guys out for other types of burgers because it hit the spot.

Another beautiful day and another burger review, today's stop came after visiting the Geary Art Crawl on a Sunday. Happy Burger is a small spot, very tight area to order but a very friendly and happy to help staff. I guess the name should have told me that I ordered a double happy cheeseburger with everything, waffle fries with Cajun and bread pudding. It's been a minute since walking to a burger spot with bread pudding so I'm stoked to try it. They take your number and text you when it's ready to go. I am currently on their patio, which seats 6, 4 other people waiting for their orders and a constant stream of bicycle delivery drivers coming and going which is typically a good sign for a spot. Waffle fries are very tasty with a solid Cajun dusting. The burger...let me say that I think I have a new favourite in the city. The bun is soft, the chopped onions are a perfect size, the cheese is perfectly melted and the flavour is just about perfect. Very filling too, so much I'm going to post this and come back to edit once I've had the pudding. See you soon. Ok I'm back after tasting the pudding and it did not disappoint. That confirms it this spot is fire you need to check it out.

Update: I got the oklahoma style onion burger and it was delicious! I loved this burger, and the fries were nicely seasoned but I really wish it came with a creamy herby sauce to dip. Oreo milk shake was pretty good too!

Happy Chicken w/ waffle fries, buffalo sauce, and sour cream dip.

Their beef burgers are delicious but I can't resist their HAPPY CHICKEN which is a fried chicken breast topped with lettuce, pickle, cheese and happy sauce on a potato bun. Their chicken could be crispier but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as I always preorder for takeout instead of having it at its freshest. I do love how tender the meat is, never dry despite it being white meat! The amount of condiments they put on is perfect and I love how soft the potato bun is, it definitely makes it feel more gourmet than your average seeded burger bun. Though tasty enough on its own, I do like to order a side of BUFFALO SAUCE and pour it on each bite for a little kick. With their combo option, I always get the WAFFLE FRIES, which are lightly salted, soft, with a slight crisp. I find these fries to be on the drier side, but this gives me the excuse to pair them with their SOUR CREAM DIP. I love the layout concept of their store, as it has a cute little pickup window with some patio seating outside. The inside of the actual store is very small, and only has a mini area for you to pay and pickup. Not the most ideal if you're looking to dine-in but this is a great place for a quick bite!

So happy I decided to stop by here to get my family some burgers!! Came here at around 4pm and there was only one person in line ahead of me. I ordered 4 happy cheeseburgers and there was about a 10 minute wait. I really appreciate the packaging they used for the containers and (paper) bag. Brought it home and threw it into the air fryer for a bit. It was my first time having a smash burger and all I gotta say it's that I was missing out! The patty was thin but very flavorful, it added a nice char along the sides as well. My family mutually agreed that these were good burgers. Service was good, the person at the counter added a happy face on the receipt :) I am so coming back!

Price - 15 $ for Impossible Vegan Cheeseburger and Cajun Waffle Fries Looking for juicy , cheese loaded burgers; HAPPY BURGER is worth all your cravings! Living up to its name, the burger was fresh and stuffed making me happy spending those bucks. Cute little shop serving one of the most amazing cheeseburgers, ought to try on your next visit. The cashier was extremely polite and suggested the cajun flavoured fries

If a Happy Burger smothered in Happy Sauce doesn't turn your frown upside down, what does? This new fast-food joint from Mamakas Food Group opened at the beginning of September and it's located just north of Kensington market on Lippincott Street. Happy Burger's menu is full of stuff dreams are made of -- smash burgers (beef and veggie varieties), hot dogs and irresistible waffle fries dusted in cajun seasoning (hello, guilty pleasure!). Order from the takeout window and have an outdoor picnic (if you can bear the cold!). If you'd rather consume your comfort food at home, Happy Burger is also available on several delivery apps. The next time you're craving a juicy burger, check this place out. You definitely won't regret it! And chances are you'll be back for more deliciousness.

I've been here several times and this review focuses on an average of all my experiences. Happy Burger is a smash burger place that also serves up hot dogs, fried chicken burgers and vegan burgers. The owner chef has previously worked at Greek restaurants Mamakas among other fine dining establishments. I've had the Pastrami Burger, Oklahoma Onion Burger, Cheeseburger, Onion Rings and Waffle Fries. My absolute favourite is still their cheeseburger. I usually order the onion rings, which are among the best in the city. The service has always been outstanding. The staff always seems to really care about their customers. There are no seats, but if you're lucky, you can eat on one the two outdoor picnic benches, under the tree. It's like a little oasis in the city. Overall I recommend stopping by! You'll be happy you did!

I got to try the happy cheeseburger (thanks sister!) which consisted of a a smashed patty topped with cheese lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and happy sauce on a potato bun. The cheeseburger was delicious and I liked how the burger didn't feel or taste overly oily like what you get at some fast food restaurants. The happy sauce tastes like Big Mac sauce. I also appreciate how they use packaging made out of recyclable products instead of styrofoam.

Tasty smash burgers and hot dogs on a pillowy potato bun! FOOD // I ordered the Happy Dog, Happy Cheeseburger, Waffle Fries, and Onion Rings. I really enjoyed the Happy Dog and Happy Cheeseburger - it feels like a healthier hot dog and cheeseburger! The Happy Dog reminds me of a Chicago-style hot dog, with the onions and pickles - a really great snack! The Happy Cheeseburger is a smash burger and is juicy! The burger sauce is nice and the toppings complement the patty well. The Waffle Fries were also well done and nicely crisp! The Onion Rings weren't a hit for me...there was a lot of batter, which I wasn't a fan of. SERVICE // The service is good and they are very quick! I've been here twice - one time ordering there and another time ordering online. Positive, quick experiences both times! PRICE // It is around $6 for the Happy Dog and $7.5 for the Happy Cheeseburger. I would say the Happy Dog is a little overpriced and the Happy Cheeseburger is reasonably priced. I would definitely say it's a higher-end fast food place, but the ingredients and quality justifies the higher price point! If you're craving a healthier, less greasy burger or hot dog, I would definitely recommend Happy Burger! PS. The storefront is also really cute and is instagrammable with a happy face painted on the gate!

Today, I made the mistake of purchasing a goat roti at Randy's on Yonge Street. At 1:20 PM, the place was completely empty. I approached the counter and was met with no greeting, no smile, not from the cashier nor from the two women near the hot table. The roti shell was undercooked, gummy, and doughy. The filling was 95% overcooked, tasteless potato, with only a few tiny bits of actual goat. The entire filling was dangerously well below safe temperature. When I politely requested a small amount of pepper sauce, a full whispered "committee meeting" began behind the counter about how to handle my simple request. After their U.N.-style debate, the final decision was: "Here's a tiny squirt of pepper sauce." Seriously? Penny‑wise and pound‑foolish has never cost a business more. Absolutely shameful.

I've been wanting to go to Salad Days ever since I learned about it on Yelp, mainly because I love…read morethe name. I use that Shakespearean expression all the time! Whenever someone brings up something foolish that I did in my youth, I touch the back of my hand to my forehead, toss my head back and proclaim "Oh but t'was in my salad days, when I was green in judgement!" LOL. I really should have been an actress! But enough about The Bard and my career choices, what about the food, right? It was good. I had the Salad Days Special ($8.49). It was romaine and iceberg lettuce, sweet potato mash, 2 dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with rice and spices), tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, feta cheese, hummus, tzatziki, and your choice of chicken, cooked salmon, smoked salmon, tuna, meatballs, smoked ham or falafel. I chose cooked salmon and asked them to hold the hummus. The salad was huge, but the majority of it was lettuce. Still, a really good deal for $8.49. The cooked salmon was a good size, which I liked. It was cold, but still flavourful and didn't smell fishy. I would have preferred it if the kalamata olives had the pits removed, but they were still ok. They have other set salads or you can make a custom salad. Their model is like Freshii, but I like them much better than Freshii. Staff were nice and efficient. So this is the location in Cumberland Terrace, just west of Yonge. They have another location really close by in The Hudson's Bay Centre, just east of Yonge. I like this one in Cumberland Terrace better because there are a few seats right next to it that is only shared with Esther Queen of the Soups customers. It's a bit more secluded. Note that the Salad Days in Cumberland Terrace is not in the main food court area.
