On Sunday we went to your Orillia Store with the hope of replacing our old Whirlpool Fridge. Upon…read morearriving we were greeted by Tim who went out of his way to help us find the correct size fridge for the built in kitchen cabinet. Turned out there was a fridge in Midland so we drove there and Tim called ahead to let them know we were coming and he also made a follow up call to us to make sure everything went well. We were both impressed with the time he spent trying to locate the right model, he is very helpful, knowledgeable and has the best interest of the customer in mind. Thanks Tim we appreciate everything you did for us. S & T

These stores are always so annoying with the staff following you and bugging you every 2 minutes…read morebut this time we were left alone, I guess the lady was able to read our body language. We found some stuff and the manager of the store was very smart and funny. The guys delivered today, Jacob and Cory, and they were very courteous. Thank you for the positive shopping experience in a world where everything is online.

I've once shopped at this store & enjoyed it while at the upper canada mall. I was excited to hear…read moreabout the new location at the georgian mall. everything was great! until we got to cash out.. the girl who was working behind the counter said probably 2 words to me. she had no sense of customer service. it felt like they picked a shy girl & made her work out of her comfort zone. I wish it felt more welcoming.

I had ordered a cake for my granddaughters 2nd birthday party on Friday, Dec 13th, on Saturday…read morethey called to confirm the details of the cake. On Sunday when I went to pick it up, I was told by two young men working in the bakery that there was no cake - that the cake girl had quit and I was out of luck. Kind of ruined the photoshoot for the party and of course I was called out as "forgetting to order the cake" which I had not. Today, I had calmed down enough to call and speak to the Store Owner who told me the cake had indeed been made and was sitting there getting stale. When I told him exactly what my experience was, he told me the "boys" involved had been spoken to and that it would not happen again. He did not sound apologetic, he did not offer me anything as an apology, in fact he almost made it sound like it was my fault for not going into the back of the bakery to look for the cake myself. As I work in customer service, I go out of my way to make a client happy - this man not only did not do that, barely acknowledged that it had ruined a special day for my family. Not even an offer of a coupon or gift card to cover the cost of a cake for another family birthday - nothing. He gave the impression that it was unimportant in his world and that I was not a customer to be concerned about. To say I am incredibly disappointed after shopping there for over 20 years and getting my cakes there as well, is an understatement. Mount Albert Foodland - you should do better!!!

I recently purchased a Pffaf Select 4.2 from this retailer. The delivery was prompt and the machine…read morewas excellent until the second time I went to sew with it. A number of issues cropped up. I drove it up to the shop (an hour drive) and Llyod (the head technician and store owner) sat with me for 2hrs, walking me through the issues and fixing them as we went. Nothing major to be fixed, just some small adjustments that made a world of difference. The level of care and service was tremendous. I would highly recommend. I just wish the shop were closer to where I live!

I took my machine into the shop in June and I still don't have it back. It's now August 30. I was…read moretold it would be awhile, but I never suspected that it would take this long. I called several times, but never got a callback despite leaving several messages. I finally got ahold of the head tech and was told how there is a shortage of techs and they are training some, but should get to it soon. I understand staff shortages, but this is a ridiculous amount of time to wait. I was finally promised it would be ready for yesterday. When they called (at least they called) I was told there's a new issue, sorry, not ready, needs an adjustment. I was promised it would be ready for today. Sorry, the tech who can fix it is not in. This is just frustrating. I really hope I get it back next week.
