The staff is polite and accommodating. The cuisine is exquisite, with both patio dining and clubhouse dining. Wedding and banquet services are also available. I have been following (and a part of) this program for a long time. It has its ups and downs but at…read morethis point, if you are going to be a top tennis player, let's be honest: you have to move to South Carolina, California, Austin, Florida or Europe. You are limited to what you can do with indoor courts. That's why you don't see too many players going to warm places where they train outdoors year round. Yari started the program with a core group who grew here. The top ones have left because they outgrew it. Edgar has his top-top students and the rest is a show so you think you're getting access to him but he's vested in 2-3 top students. Yari will make it seem like his program is the end-all, be all. There are some new coaches who seem to be good but it seems like the tennis model holds true here: tennis is less of a game of hard work and more infused with luck. I play for a good program but I had to break away from the program. You can grow in tennis around here by playing a whole lot. You will hit a roof and that's when you need to go elsewhere. I won't write it here but since I'm back visiting there are great spots in the area to train with great coaches and don't be afraid to mix it up. I should have moved to SC or Florida when I had the chance.
