Hampton Roads ENT has been a life changer for me - specially Dr. Jeffrey Aldinger! I experienced a life altering medical issue and no one could figure out the cause! I had to undergo numerous tests, MRIs, CT scans, Echocardiogram's, bloodwork, you name it I was tested for it! They all (thank God) came back negative. I started thinking that it was all in my head! This went on for several months. When I saw Dr. Aldinger he did not stop until he figured out what my problem was. For the first time, I felt heard, understood, and like someone genuinely cared! I am sure the doctors are amazing, but when it comes to management, they are the worst. My friend's niece worked there for almost two years, and her mom died last month, but not even management acknowledged her employee to give condolences or send flowers. I wish the doctors paid more attention to management. They only hire family and friends and work from home with no experience. Sharon, who is the manager, is not the best of them all. The whole family works there with no experience, and they let go of people who do have experience--makes no sense. Don't forget Eric, he talked bad about his own employee. I have been going to this practice since 2018, and have always had the best care. All the staff is knowledgeable, professional, kind and caring. Most recently I have been seeing Dr. Palacios Kibler and she is one of the most fantastic providers I have ever had, but I have also had wonderful experiences with the NP (especially NP Kistner) and Dr Lindsay, who did my tonsillectomy. What a fantastic practice. They are not only knowledgeable and helpful, but if something isn't working, they do everything they can to figure out something that does. I this weird immune thing called MCAS that causes allergic like reactions that sometimes don't have much rhyme or reason, but I have never been made to feel like a nuisance by anyone when I've had to reach out during flare ups (which I greatly appreciate:) Glad to have great care here and I will always recommend it to anyone with allergy issues, fortunate to have them in this area. read more

I benefitted from the care of Dr. John Howard of Hampton Roads ENT. For years, I suffered from severe nose bleeds which raised my stress and hampered me work for hours in my day. While we tried in house cautherization, Dr. Howard let me know that outpatient surgery would be an option. My successful surgery has given me a new stress free morning of no more nose bleeds. The place is filthy, but they can certainly check you for an ear or nose infection. There's some comments online about the business being shady and not upfront about their service charges... something about them charging hefty fees after or despite insurance coverage.... This office is extremely unprofessional. It's also very filthy. Along with all of the other reviews, they charge for services never received. Very passive aggressive staff and management that does not return phone calls. Ms. Fox (who works in their sleep study department) is very dishonest, passive aggressive and plays the victim when held accountable for not doing her job. We started coming to this ENT after countless ear infections for my little one. The urgency they placed on getting his tubes placed and the kindness they showed during the entire process was amazing. They were able to get us in quickly for initial visit, quickly for the procedure, and have been so quick with responses. Do not go to this office for any service. I saw Beverly Patterson,NP, for a sinus infection in December 2022 and was charged for a nasal endoscopy I did not have. I received an EOB from my insurance company, and the charge had been changed to a nasal endoscopy surgery. I paid my copay for the office visit before seeing her, and my insurance company paid for the office visit in which I only received three presciptions and left. I refused to pay for a procedure I did not have. They will not correct this and are now threatening to turn it over to a collection agency. I'm ready to call my lawyer. read more

My daughter was referred here by her PCP. We received a plethora of texts messages "reminding" us of the appointment from this ENT office. Upon arrival, and having filled out ALL the forms prior to arrival, we were informed of a mysterious $200.00 deposit required by the doctor before he would see us. I asked what the $200 was for? The receptionist explained that it was because of our high deductible. Our deductible is $500.00. This was an initial 15 minute appointment, to establish care. No further explanation was given. The doctors office had our insurance info and should have told us about this "deposit" prior to our arrival, so we could decide make an informed decision. In fact a reasonable person would have told us about the charge prior to our visit. It seems the doctor wants the "deposit" to be a surprise. I find this disrespectful. This doctor is shady, and must need more money for his beach house/ yacht. read more

This office called the day before an appointment to request $150 on top of the copay in order to be seen due to a "high deductible insurance". My insurance deductible is $500 - not $1300 as high deductible insurance is defined by the IRS and they are in-network. WTF? If they are consistently doing things not covered by insurance, they need to renegotiate their covered procedures not fleece their customers. They are being reported to my referring doctor as well as the medical insurance company. read more

Coming here vs my prior ENT is like night and day. I have been pleasantly surprised with my overall experience at the Newport News office. Both Dr. Lindsey and now Dr. Queen have been great, staff has been nice and very helpful. No major issues with billing...so far. My only complaint is the parking lot! read more

Dr Bacon is one of the best dr's I have ever had, he is professional , kind and knowledgeable the staff and dr's are also wonderful. You could not find a better ENT or Allergy clinic and I have seen a few in my years in different towns also has late hours once a week for shots that really helps. I am very thankful that Dr Bacon is the ENT dr I see he has really improved the quality of my life and in turn my family's. read more

So far I have seen Dr. Lindsay, Dr. Bacon, and the nurse practitioner, Beverly Patterson. All have been amazing! I think this office has a great combination of specialists, as Dr. Lindsay is a plastic surgeon/sleep specialist, and Dr. Bacon is an Ear Nose and Throat doctor. All of these services are needed when you have severe allergies. Additionally, I get my allergy testing and allergy shots here weekly. They typically have me in and out within 20 min (unless you come at a busier time). The staff is always friendly and professional.. read more

My appointment at Dr. Bacon's office has thus far been a pleasant experience. I was greeted by Amanda who was very courteous, took my vitals and updated my information. Amanda is also bilingual and is eager to make you as comfortable as possible while you wait for your physician to come in for your checkup. I saw the nurse practitioner doctor Beverly Patterson on a follow-up visit after having a sinus infection. All went well with Doctor Patterson as she asked questions about how I felt, went over my medical records examined me and asked if I had any concerns. Dr. Patterson is very patient takes her time and is an excellent nurse practitioner I would recommend Dr. Bacon or dr. Patterson as your ENT specialist and don't forget to say hello to Amanda. Amanda is a very caring and genuine person a d she will make certain that you are comfortable as you wait to see your physician. read more

Great care, but I can affirm the hidden charges from this clinic. The physicians were knowledgeable, but not worth it. The office staff does not follow up with patients and I am pretty dissatisfied with this practice in spite of the professional knowledge of the practitioners. read more

Beware the hidden charges. They charged me $587 for an unnecessary endoscopy. Oh, but they won't tell you that until they send you the bill. Crooks! Edit... For emphasis, practices like these are the reason your health care costs have quadrupled in the last decade. read more

I was also charged for the endoscopy which I did not receive and dinner since i'd had a double septum operation it was not needed. Have been fighting with them for six months to get it off my bill. I refuse to pay for a test I didn't need or receive. read more

I go here for shots and an occasional appointment follow up..I've never wanted long and everyone is kind attentive and courteous, .

Dr.Lindsey is an awesome Doctor he takes the time to explain to you what hes doing or needs to be done hes not a stuffy uncaring doctor I felt as he treated me like family.I will never see any other ENT or my children. read more

Ok. My initial review was not great. I got hit with a huge bill for an endoscopy that I was not expecting since they charge way more than insurance will pay. But...I am having some relief from allergies finally. More importantly, I referred a friend and her daughter. They caught and were able to develop a plan to treat reoccuring ear infections that were causing the child to go deaf. Other drs just kept prescribing antibiotics and not dealing with the root issue. She stands a better chance of protecting her remainig hearing and recovering some of it because of this practice. read more

My mother, who is 75 years old went to doctor Bacon last Monday. He took a culture and said she should hear back by Wednesday, and if not to call them. She did not hear back so she called Thursday. The receptionist shrugged her off, said there were no results and she couldn't do anything. This happened through Monday of the following week!! I called them yesterday and let them know that we needed to hear from them TODAY! The nurse practitioner, Beverly Patterson, called my mother and told her that the spray she had should take care of her. My mother, said it wasn't and that she needed an antibiotic. Ms. Beverly's attitude was pretty much...too bad. My mother said she guess she would have to go to Patient First and Ms. Beverly hung up on her!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! read more

During my tonsillectomy post op appt, Dr. Lindsay was very dismissive of my concerns. He only answered my questions stating, "you just had surgery, you're going to have pain". My question was never about the pain, but the feeling of something being lodged in my throat, which appeared the week following my surgery. He cut me off several times as I tried to be clear about my issues, even saying "Ok, BYE" loudly as he walked out of the office. His behavior during this visit was extremely rude. read more
