A well equipped gym.

If you've visited more than a couple Hampton Inn's like me you'll know that in general they are all structured very similarly. This one feels familiar and that's a comfort to me. The good about this specific location: friendly staff at both the front desk and breakfast area. A well equipped gym with free weights, a couple of elliptical and treadmill. With a reasonable amount of space. That said I was using it with only one other person...not sure what it would feel like with 5more people in other words, if there was a person on all he machines. If it were me I'd just wait till the rush is over...still I've used worse gyms at a Hilton property. They have an outdoor pool and I can imagine using it during the famously hot Texas summers. My room was clean and well equipped with lots of outlets for my devices. In other words normal from my experience with other Hampton Inns The bad: not enough diamond member parking spaces. Lastly, yy room was on the 4th floor facing Mays St/Dell Way and I could still hear the construction and particularly the road noise from the cars passing by. I don't normally notice exterior noise at other Hampton Inn locations...if you're sensitive to noise consider getting a room away from Mays st. at this property.

What an experience so far. This is only day one so I will tell you my experience so far. We checked in at 2:00 to ensure we paid for the rooms for our party. We'll our check was not approved because it was not preauthorized and sent days before. As a school employee this expense was a burden put on the team. Understanding the procedure I paid out of pocket. We were then told that we couldn't check in until 3:00, so we had to come back. We came back to the hotel at 5:00 and stood in line again. Then I was asked to pay again, which I argued. The gentleman pulled up my account and saw my balance had been payed. I was given my key to head up to my room. I headed to my room and the key didn't work. I had to head down to the lobby to request another key. I came up to my room and finally was able to enter my room. I was in town for a huge educational conference and surprised the hotel provides a one star experience. I hope the next few days turn around for me.

Comfortable, clean and courteous staff. Reasonably priced hotel, and we know the sheets are clean. Check out is noon which is a plus. We are only here for Christmas weekend and have to get up early so check out will be earlier. We like Hampton Inns as we never have any complaint. A miracle for my hubs as I am the one complaining. Merry Christmas fellow Yelpers!

Hampton property off a back side road in Round rock close to I-35... this is an older Hampton that appears to be renovated, to me this is just an average Hampton where some things could be improved. See the pictures of the tub where in both rooms we had there was rust and chips around the drains of the tub-- this seems like something that could box fixed relatively easily, I.E. with a can of rustoleum. When you see the rust stains at first you are horrified thinking it was something else LOL! Other thing that stood out to me at this property was the disfunction at breakfast- both mornings we went down and the milk was out of the decanter. The meat was also out for a while-- we went about 9:30 so I feel the breakfast attendant was not the most attentive and was going out of her way to not refill the empty food. One morning guests got upset and the front desk clerk, had to come refill the milk-- something definitely going on with breakfast attendant. The rooms also had a musty smell, it wasn't strong but just enough to get the nose running. Next time in Austin we will probably stay at a different Hilton property.

Our home away from home in Round Rock/Austin. Great location practically on the Dell campus, but at the intersection of I-35, the Toll 45 and Business I-35 make for easy access to anywhere in the area. One can walk to several eateries or short drive to major shopping and restaurants. The service is super-friendly and accommodating. Rooms are well-appointed and modern. There is hot breakfast in the lobby included in the price. If you have to eat and run, they have bag-breakfast for you. There is a PC and printer in the lobby for guest use (great for printing airline boarding passes). Just beware that on weekends, a lot of families stay here, so the public areas are apt to be overrun with unsupervised kids. I would not consider staying anywhere else in Round Rock - price, location, cleanliness and service make this my choice.

Hearty continental breakfast! Yum!

That has yet to happen, but I did enjoy a nice weekend brunch there with my girlfriend and a friend from work. The bar is super comfortable and cozy. It's such a relaxing and comfortable spot. It's not perfectly designed for a dining experience, but it's greatly shaped and laid out for a bar. My girlfriend and I shared their sizable French press coffee to start. 30 oz of the Lodestar Blend from Texas Coffee Traders. To eat, I ordered the Bagel Breakfast Sandwich, which is your classic everything bagel with egg, bacon, cheddar, and mayo. I added their potatoes as well. The sandwich was good and flavorful, while the potatoes were decent. They could've used a little salt, which I didn't see on the table and never bothered to ask about, so that's on me. My girlfriend got their Avocado Toast with an egg on top. Can never go wrong with some avocado on glorious sourdough bread. Lastly, my friend got their Dutch Baby Pancake, which I tried a bite of, and whew, what a delight. Ruby's bar does a great job at making you feel comfortable. It really helps generate a good conversation on a Sunday morning, just from how relaxed the atmosphere feels. I'm sold on this spot, and I love how tucked away it is, though still close to the downtown area of Round Rock. RIYL: A lil brunch at a cute lil spot.

It was very obvious that the leadership of this facility were on top of it. Example- the desk staff stayed in the lobby area to be very visible and available. Front desk did not give us any acknowledgement or gift for Gold membership, but no big deal. Place was on the wrong side of a highway, with only a Thai seafood and a Vietnamese pho place nearby. Behind a Good Will store and surrounded by an industrial park. Plenty of parking, standard lobby, small gym which we used, small pool. Room was clean, had the usual kitchen setup and accessories. Nice AC during a hot week. Standard furnishings, but sound on flat screen was not good. Breakfast was the worst we have ever had. First day had uncooked oatmeal, some scrambled egg and some hashbrowns mixed w sausage pieces and veg. A little cut fruit, and no whole fruit. Only good was the coffee. We tried next day and the same, so we avoided breakfast for the rest of our stay besides picking up coffee and fixings for our own oatmeal packages. Last day had some pre cooked bacon paper slices. We stayed here to be near the Dell Round Rock campus to visit family. Next time we will stay closer to other Dell campus.

I guess she tagged me to be a "difficult customer" even when I didn't make a big deal and admitted I was at fault ... however, when I got in the room, the room was filthy. When I called her, she was not apologetic, was condescending, and not helpful at all. She quickly said she can offer a refund or we stay in the room. She could care less about the inconvenience... she didn't bother to offer to perhaps send housekeeping to maybe clean the room again since they can't offer a clean room for us... I had to call corporate who was much helpful, but in the end, we decided to book with Hyatt - and they were actually cheaper. Then, when I went downstairs to tell them we'll take the refund, I told her (and maybe the manager that was standing next to her) that I left the dog hairs I found on the night stand and that the chair they have was sticky and filthy. They just looked at me and was like "OK". Oh wow - my husband and I were laughing as we drove off... what a joke. We feel bad for the owner of this hotel. The hotel only cleans every other day to cut costs, so you must request a cleaning if you want more often than that. That is exactly what we did. Unfortunately, this is what we saw when we got back to the hotel, see pic below, when we requested a cleaning. The excuse from the receptionist was the hotel was full so they did not have enough housekeepers to clean our room. Then the manager called the next day after we had to send two texts about what happened. He said it happened because the housekeeper saw a do not disturb sign on the door. Either way it is unacceptable, and the fact that they have conflicting stories about the incident is not good. Certainly, if the housekeeper should have come back to clean the room, knowing we specifically requested a cleaning. Other than that the breakfast was lousy--even by complimentary breakfast standards. The omelette tasted rubbery, the oatmeal was soggy and there were very few selctions. It was so bad that very few people were seen at breakfast the whole stay. Finally, the pool was unusable the whole time we were there. Apparently the pool heater broke which would have cost $5000 to fix, so despite the weather being nice, the pool was closed because a multimillion dollar company did not want to spend five thousand to fix a heater and settle the cost with the warranty company later. Despite the problems we had, the manager who checked us out, did not offer us a penny off the bill, very poor service and we would not recommend anyone to stay here.
