We are waiting on breakfast now, yum yum, the smell is wafting throughout the house!! No one knows this but when I was younger, way way back, a lady that lived in the house, that used to be owned by the Stone Family, Mrs. Myers, took care of me in this house from when I was a baby till about 5 or 6 years old. She lived in a little apartment upstairs in what now is bedroom # 7, wow memories. Mrs. Myers lived up into her 100's before passing away. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back!!

Otherwise, unplugging is kind of the point right? One night we decided to stay in and just watch a movie on tv. The tv and sat service/ Blu-ray is great but being that there is only a tv in the living room it was mildly disappointing. The shower in the room has great water pressure. Maybe too great. Ha. The non adjustable shower head type combined with the pressure made for a shower that fired a little too hard for our taste. But the amazing waterfall outdoor shower makes up for that. A disappointing stay, not recommended…read more I chose this Econolodge after seeing a 40% discount offered. Even though it was cheap, was it worth it? Nope. I'll start with the worst. There was no hot water in the shower. I let the "hot" water run for 10 minutes and I'm not even sure I would call it lukewarm. Since I was running out of time before check-out, I didn't bother to complain. Also, housekeeping started banging on the door at 9:30 a.m., really? I had the "do not disturb" sign on the door too and housekeeping even acknowledged it, telling me that people usually forget to take the sign down. When check-out is at 11, why not wait a while? It wasn't even busy (not many rooms to clean), considering the parking lot was mostly empty. The other thing that bothered me was a stained bath towel. The other towel was okay, even if it had turned an off-white color... The only things saving this review from being worse were the amenities (fridge, iron, flat-screen TV) and the bed, which was somewhat comfortable. You get what you pay for, but consider that there are plenty of inexpensive lodging options near Arkadelphia.
