My experience with ROR was an addition added to the back of my home. Instructions were…read morespecifically given prior regarding the roof for the material (metal) and the slope so snow would slide off. Specifically asked if it could be done without disturbing current home roof. I was not told that it couldn't be done. They installed a flat roof. Despite my consistent comments and objections regarding the slope of the roof I was assured all would slide off. Turns out the metal roof they put on was not made for the slope of roof that was installed. Thus a leak occurred within 2 months of the finish. It was then 18 months of them trying to figure out where it was originating from with no fix. Imagine your new bathroom with a gapping hole that leaked water THROUGH the INSTALLED Vent in the middle of the roof by ROR. Two winters it was like this (I did cover the gap with a funnel to my sink during winter) Mold grew and still they did nothing but come out and test and damage my house roof with caulk withOUT my knowledge they were doing it as they said it was coming from there. At no time did they remove any of the work THEY did to check. It was found in testimony from both the roofer and ROR that they did install the wrong roof material but still insisted that it came from my roof. (I won that lawsuit) This could all have been avoided if they would have listened and not lie to me since they told me that the roof would do its job and that the material used was made for that slope. Lies to the inspector I called back to my house as well. Along with the above, they built the opening to the shower several inches too narrow so that anyone would have to go in sideways. They did fix after I told them about it but that changed the design I originally gave them. They installed a torn screen and didn't fix it till I asked, he even confirmed it was that way when he installed!! They installed a bathroom mirror that when cleaning it for the first time it fell off the wall because of improper installation (directions were on the package) There were no blueprint plans of the addition - had I been given that I would have said about the roof if that was their original plan to build it that flat. I was recently widowed at the time and felt that I was ignored because I didn't have a husband standing next to me. There were many other things during the build - no protection to my home when they cut through the wall letting dust fly into the room - no barrier at all or use of masks to protect themselves as well. Imagine that mess for which they did not clean up. Living with this addition for a couple years, I totally regret hiring ROR to build the addition. Not only did I have to pay for a lawyer to get justice (because they failed to fix it and kept stalling with doing anything) I had to deal with all the things that failed such as adequate heat. I have to use supplemental heat in the winter. A professional HVAC company told me that what was installed was not enough for a room that had 3 outside walls. All of this of course is my story of what I went through. There's always another side. I gain nothing from writing this other than to let someone else know my story.

Highly recommend Red Oak. I really loved the personalized attention. Lora was great taking me to…read morewhere I needed to go, offering advice and valuable input. I think all of the guys who worked on the job were very nice and professional.
