So when I moved to Cebu, some of those healthier options were challenging to find. Not that there aren't fresh fruits/veggies (there are many!!), but it was hard to find things like smoothies that didn't have a lot of cane sugar added to it. About 3 months before I moved back to California, lo and behold, Mooshi came onto the scene. And boy, was I excited. Finally, some great green smoothie options at a decent price. I was overjoyed. It's always great to drink something that makes you feel good afterwards. They've expanded from their beginning in Ayala Mall to IT Park and SM Mall Cebu City (Maybe SM Seaside as well?). So great!

As Starbucks has driven a nail into their foot with their dumb policies using Lactel baby milk and skim milk for their coffee drinks, with their overly-tight policies on covid precautions, baristas who don't find it unusual to scald the milk in their lattes, and drink prices far too high compared to others (Brewtherhood, Seattle's Best, Bo's, etc.), why bother ever to go back! Their over-roasted beans are still good, but there are plenty of alternatives. Come to the little brewtherhood cafe instead, as it's not far from downtown or city mall. Parking is close and not the hassle of the Starbuck branches. I've returned already, and will continue to do so...

They must add condensed milk or coconut milk as an addition too because not only was it fresh and sweet, but it was also somewhat smooth and creamy. All shakes are P99 -- cheap cheap! The ordering system is efficient too and I imagine it's this way since they might get busy on most nights; thankfully it wasn't when we visited. Pay first with the cashier, then wait in another line where you exchange your ticket for a shake at the front. It was so refreshing to see EVERY single booth with workers sporting masks. And this is just a common, every day code of conduct. Americans could learn a thing or two about mask-wearing.

They have reading materials to use while you're there and some plants and healthy foods for sale. Had the pleasure of dropping by one of them at Robinsons Galleria. Young woman who assisted me was courteous and helpful. They have all kinds of lemonade flavors. You can also have them adjust the sweetness level to your preference. I am an old fashioned kind of guy so I ordered a regular sized Original Lemonade. Priced right for the size, and it tasted refreshing. Nice job.
