We stayed at this gorgeous hotel on our one night in Sete. It's a gorgeous top rated hotel located…read moreright on the canal street, facing the canal. Our view from our suite was spectacular with sweeping views of the canal! The hotel itself is beautiful both on the outside and on the inside. A gorgeous sun filled atrium with a high glass ceiling, fabulous artwork and very chic decor. Our room was huge and the decor was beautiful, accented with gorgeous furniture and our bathroom complete with the quintessential "French" tub (loved it). We had a lovely continental breakfast delivered to our room in the morning. My only 2 gripes were the parking garage that was a nightmare to get out off once we parked the car. We checked in after 9pm and the garage was not well lighted and we could not find our way out! It also does not connect to the hotel so we had to lug our heavy luggage out (we'd been traveling for over a week, Otay), in the dark. Lol. And second, for such being rated as the top hotel in Sete, there were no luggage racks nor anyone to help us with our luggage. We also wanted to dine at the hotel restaurant which was highly recommended but to our dismay everything in Sete shuts down by 11pm even on Fridays and Saturdays! Next time we will just have to arrive earlier and carry less luggage. All in all, it's a must stay when in Sete!
