My wife and I recently used this branch to open an account for her. As she is a foreigner this is sometimes quite a difficult process but we had no problems at this branch. We were taken to an office and must have spent about 45 mintes to an hour opening an account. We were not rushed at all and the advisor who served us was very friendly and chatty. There was a fairly big queue but that is to be expected. This branch offers what you need without needeing to go into the city centre.

So far I've only been in a couple of times but on each occassion the staff have been both knowledgable and helpful. My wife and I went in to change her surname on our joint account (to mine) and the guy on the reception desk made this a much easier process than we were epxecting. There are a number of cashier windows in this branch and when I went there was harldy anyone in the queue. This bank is at the bottom end of North End. As usual with North end convenient if walking but not if you are in your car.

The branch is larger than the old one and has better opening hours as it is now open until 3 p.m. on Saturdays. It has a cash machine outside and also 2 inside that can be accessed during opening hours. I have had accounts at Nationwide for longer than I care to remember and have always been impressed with their service. The branch staff are friendly and helpful and, if I have ever had a problem (very rarely, I might add) it has been dealt with quickly and efficiently.

It's a very small branch but the way they've laid out the bank clerk window, the cashpoint and the customer service section really does make good use of the space without it actually feeling cramped. The bank has the more clean/white/sterile Barclays look to it, so it's been revamped as one of the newer branches, and it's always kept tidy and never too hot/cold like most other banks The staff there are very helpful and the customer service reps make time to listen to you; one time I was taking about £50 of coins down to the clerk window at the end of the day and he actually happily helped me count it into bags (not that I would recommend doing this daily)! I continue to keep coming here because it's small enough to feel like you're getting a more personalized service, as the tellers will recognise regulars, but the staff are efficient enough so that you're not kept waiting forever either.
