He treats the people that pay him like dog crap. He only cares about money even tho he doesn't do his job correctly. And he's overall not good. 0/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND. He is the worst lawyer anyone could hire and I'm pretty sure he has dementia.

Clearly, answering the phone for a law practice means you interact with the public. Clearly since Attorney Harriet Thompson of Bolivar, Tn, provides legal services to the State of Tennessee's mental health patients -- means you interact with the patients' family member. That in itself says there's a need for sensitivity. Barbara Kupc's attitude and tone over the telephone is not professional, has an edge to it and simply nasty. She's snappy, quick and does not need to be on the telephone with the public. I asked could I have Attorney Harriet Thompson's email since our conversation was not productive. In the background Attorney Harriet Thompson said, "No, I could not have her email." It's my understanding that the legal services she provides to State of Tennessee are paid for by the state -- for the respective mental health patient. This experience would be exactly what you don't want to deal with an attorney for anything. It is my hope that other family members of mental health patients do not secure the services -- even if it's suggested by Western Mental Health In Bolivar, TN. We're sure it's nice to receive state compensation. As the family members' of state mental health patients, we would like kindness and professionalism in the services rendered -- it's not often, less than twice a year, that you're contacted.
