The main bulding is empty and needs renovating. :*( Still, there were some cool vendors. Rhings to try. I found some sock. Fruit veggies. Baked goods. Cookies. Pickles n kraut. Halava at the Greek stand. Always fun to visit a Central Market. They should fix it up and pro.ote it better. read more

This market is fabulous and houses a true medley and cross-section of items from Polish culture and beyond! We enjoyed visiting this market during our trip to Warsaw. Although it was once houses inside the old brick marketplace, due to disrepair the market is set up adjacent and outside of the building (which appears to be renovated). This market is located on the fringe of the Old Jewish quarter. Walking around perusing the offering was fun! There were many bulk items and local delights that were for sale. I enjoyed that you could get sauerkraut from a tub and all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables. There also was a textile section that sold clothing, socks, and accessories. There were several vendors that sold plants which were nice and relatively inexpensive. I was delighted to find a Greek market stall that had some very fabulous halva for sale. YUM! I will definitely make a return trip here next time I am in the area. :) read more

Definitely this place it's a usual for me. I've become addicted to go there every Saturday morning! :) All The walk begins with a fresh smell of flowers. I always pass through the flowers rows even though i will not buy them. Love that feeling walking with my eyes closed enjoying that amazing smell ^_^ Of course once you get inside, you can find there tons of fresh fruits and seasonal vegetables. Its also the perfect place to find meat, spices, and other ingredients difficult to find in a regular shop. And of course everytime i went there , I am forced to speak in polish, so its a good moment to practise and improve it! read more

Great place to buy seasonal veggies and fruits found here in Poland. This is a must-see if you are a visitor or have visitors from out of town. The place is always bustling with vendors and buyers alike. You can also find local cheese makers, butchers with various cuts of meats as well as local fresh eggs and seafood that can be cooked to order right there on the spot. Around the corner you can find an Asian shop (Asia Tasty) that has all things you could possibly find when looking for ingredients for any Asian dish you want to cook up. Make sure to take cash with you as none of the vendors take cards. This is no issue being that there is a bankomat located within the premises of the market itself. What a great find! This is a lovely market I found when walking to see the border of the former Jewish ghetto. The market is huge with tons of stands selling produce, hard goods, groceries, flowers, and baked goods. We got several types of Polish fruit including miniature tart strawberries, Polish blueberries (also tart), and cherries. Everything was very fresh. I would highly recommend this market. read more

This is a true gem when it comes to local traditional city markets....I loved just walking through and exploring the different treats and flavors. A fresh market set up in over 100 year old building, restored after WWII. It's the largest market of this kind in Warsaw with vast variety of all types of vendors. You will find all the grocery needs here: seasonal fresh produce, herbs, meats, fish, eggs, baked goods. The prices are also very competitive, especially if you take your time to go through and explore. It gets very crowded on the weekends; for best shopping experience come earlier in the day. In front of main entrance you'll also see few vendors selling plentiful of fresh, colorful flowers. read more
