In this economy, I feel fairly confident my time and money will be better spent elsewhere. Front desk and ancillary staff are very good, great customer service. Hair stylist not so much. If my 5-weeks-out knee replacement wasn't killing me, I might've stuck it out, (made that clear before booking a month ago). I even switched the date at late notice, per her text request this past Saturday, and that wasn't the first time. I paid her for the color, but since she didn't get around to the cut after being there an hour after scheduled appointment time, my forbearance had been drained.

She informed me that this was a task that she could fulfill. However, at the time I did not know that she was unqualified and incompetent. After she completed the style, everything seemed okay until a week later. Locs started to gradually fall out of my hair for no reason. When I contacted her about it, she seemed unconcerned and nonchalant. I asked her to let me know when she was available to rectify the issue and she never did. Two weeks later, I had to text her again to correct the issue. She fixed a few of them, however, at this point multiple locs were demarcating from my root and the actual re-attached loc. After research, I discovered that the root to loc ratio was not even and that was the reason that my locs were not staying attached. The roots were too large for the size of my locs. Just shy of a month later and I have over ten locs missing from the top of my head. I can't go anywhere in public without wearing a hat. I informed Jhayla of this and of course she was unsympathetic and unapologetic. I first asked her to completely redo them and she said no. I then asked for a partial refund and she said no. I had no idea how loc reattachments worked so as a "stylist", I trusted her discernment and her vision. I wish that she had been honest and admitted that she was not qualified and did not know how to fulfill this task. Instead, she decided to be money hungry and charge over $500 for a subpar job. I am not even sure if she is licensed to do hair. I'm sure the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology would find that interesting. Anyways, now I have to pay a real stylist to correct the mess that she left in my head. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone that cares about the maintenance and health of their natural hair/locs. This experience was absolutely disgusting and disturbing. I am leaving this review as a warning so that the same thing won't happen to anyone else. I've been growing my locs for almost ten years and they're my babies so please beware of where and who you book with.

She did not refund me the additional money she charged me and pretended like she didn't understand english. If you are going to support this salon keep all your receipts because Anna is dishonest and a THIEF!!! I will no longer support this business and I have filed a claim for the additional funds that Anna did not refund me after admitting she overcharged me for my service.
