I did get service thank you to jasmine, but only cause her office is right in front of the entrance. If she wasn't right there then NO ONE would have given me service. The fact that I walked in right when another client walked out and there was a hair stylist right there. They still didn't greet me or asked if I was a walk-in or have an appointment. Their signs says walk-ins are welcome but the vibe is not very welcoming. I still got my hair cut came out cute. But services can be way better. And I still tipped! White people only.

So I came on to my trusty yelp to check out the reviews. After reviewing these we decided to check this place out. We first called to see if they had to make an appointment keep in mind this is Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving. And they were open and available! What amazed us even more they were able to take all 3 of us ( myself, my wife and son) Laura did an excellent job cutting our hair! Very easy to talk to and great personality! Esp. Giving her ideas and places to eat when she comes to ATX. For the price we got all of our haircuts it would have been approx. Twice as much here in ATX! Thank you again Laura. ( cosmetology school at Aveda ) SO WITH SAYING THAT. I AM PICKY. it took me two years to even cut my hair in san angelo. I went in with long hair and just wanting a trim, Every time i say trim in the past it ends up being a 3 inch shorter than i came in with. So you can see my reluctance to get a "trim" Went in and Laura did my consultation. First the first time 1/2 of an inch was cut and the angels sang. SO HAPPY! Finally a real trim and she added long layers. She is awesome and her color I've seen which is also great. Daniel, My boyfriend gets his hair cuts by Antonio at the beauty parlor and Antonio is a saint as well. Gentleman hair cuts, good beard trims, rat tails, greaser looks. He can do it all! The salon super cute and clean. I know the owner Tara and the other gal Danielle are super talented as well.

The first time I went was for a touch up on my roots. That's the first picture below. You can see The highlights are EXTREMELY spaced and far too brassy in color. I'll add my hair had been toned and "glossed". Which I also don't recommend the gloss since I saw no real difference in the texture of my hair. After leavening the first time and breaking down after getting home, I called back and said I wasn't quite happy, they're we're very helpful and able to get me back in that week. Well, I go back and they added more highlight but now the top two inches of my hair is so brassy, and the rest is my normal blonde color. The best part is. I was told just to use a purple shampoo and it should start to blend it with the rest of my hair. If you're a blonde, you know purple shampoo does nothing if that hair was never lightened enough from the start. I have no other option than to just wait it out and see my normal stylist back home. If you are blonde, this is not the salon for you. It's really hard to find a stylist who can treat blond hair right and unfortunately this place is not it. The second photo is post my second appointment, the third is after the at home toner I decided to try in a last stitch effort to fix this mess. Mind you, I paid $180 for color, trim, toner, and "gloss". I paid almost $200 for my hair to be turned brassy yuck.

I went back to her and asked her to tweak it and she did and I LOVE IT! Her experience and professionalism are great. She cut my hair to prepare it to grow to a length that will give me more options. I (Kitta) will definitely go back and I highly recommend her to others.
