It was the salon calling asking if I was keeping my appointment. I stated to the lady on the phone that my appointment is set for 5:30. I was in the salon at 5:10. The hair stylist told the lady at the front desk that she didn't have enough time to do my hair. SERIOUSLY!?!? She did not even come out to meet me to know what I needed to be done. I guess in a small town if you charge $50+ for a hair cut you can be a B!$@&. I guess I will go back to the big city and get a big city haircut. I was greeted by my first name as soon as I walked in the door which immediately made me feel like I've been a client for years. She offered me water or to brew tea for me which I opted for some Chai with turmeric that was delicious. Lyn has a great personality and is all about the experience and making sure you're comfortable. This was my first time getting a Brazilian so I was nervous and of course uncomfortable with the exposure but again Lyn made the whole process as comfortable as she could. Recognizing that this was a very personal process for women and made sure to keep conversation through the whole process so my mind was focused on that and not being exposed. Pricing is great for the services provided and Lyn really went above and beyond! She's a great conversationalist which is awesome because I lack that skill so she was able to keep me talking and engaged. She is so kind and calming, definitely the type of lady you want to be sugaring your lady bits and then take her out for coffee or tea afterwards! Look forward to scheduling future appointments with her for sugaring as well as her business partner for facials!

I also ended up being charged separately just for shaping my nails, which I have never been charged for at other salons I've ever been to? Seems like that would be something included. (I wanted almond shape, the most basic shape) Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere also made me uncomfortable. While doing my nails, the technician was speaking negatively about another coworker across the room to a customer. It didn't feel like a welcoming or professional environment. To make matters worse, my nails started chipping just two days after my appointment. Considering the price I paid and the experience I had, I was not satisfied with the service and would not return.
