My appt was at 4:20 and I was started on time. Kisha did a great consultation before just diving in which I really appreciated. The shampoo stations were more comfortable than usual. The bowls have a bar that your head rests on so your neck isn't hurting which I really appreciated. My hair is short. Relaxed on the sides and natural on the top. FARFAN not only gave me an awesome haircut , he fixed a horrible one that looked like there was no saving. He was understanding , kind and loving. People forget that how you speak to a client , your character, is just as important as the talent itself sometimes. How you look is very important in the job market and in life in general when it comes to building your self esteem. I literally , got on my knees and thanked God after I got my haircut. I was so embarrassed about my last one , that a friend of mine commented she was usually not aware of looks but I didn't look like myself. The last one I have gotten before God used FARFAN to save it, was seriously one of the worst I've ever gotten In my life. The style itself was very neat and exactly what I envisioned. Monisha did ask how I liked the finish product. Also, she DOES NOT braid tight! My head was pain free throughout the entire styling AND afterwards. The braids lasted quite some time too. Maritza was nice enough but proceeded to tell me how she loses money on her Groupon deals. It felt as though she was guilting me to give her a big tip. I had a haircut in mind (modified pixie). I even had pictures to demonstrate the cut. She ended up giving me a basic bob. When I asked her to go shorter in back she proceeded to tell me she could go much higher. Wrong! I've had it done before. She didn't seem to skilled in modern cuts. As she was finishing up with me another client walked in. She asked that she wait in the hall and pretty much rushed me out. Be aware, It's hidden in the plaza! I was looking for a sign or something but she's located inside a door that leads to various business, she's located in a private room suite. The fountains is huge so she's located right across the chilis. Anyways, I loved Marissa because she uses all organic products that smell phenomenal!
