She was disinterested in the pictures that I brought and dismissive and untalkative as I was explaining what I wanted and my goal. She just stated cutting. She cut bluntly and uneven all of my head leaving me once again with layers that I had made progress growing out. I couldn't do anything with it and I can usually style my hair despite whatever is going on with it. I had to spend $75 for another cut at a reputable salon to fix it and it was no secret they thought the job she did was a crime. They were also appalled that she shaved my neckline so high up. If you go there, see someone other than Tabetha.

MY hair is completely washed out and has broken off in spots. It also left my scalp very irritated. What hairdresser lies to you about putting color on your roots and uses bleach instead??? And she charged me the full amount for color. DO NOT GO TO THIS PERSON. She is a phony and fraud and is only in this for the money. I swear this review is totally the truth. And she had the audacity to tell me next time the color price would increase by $5.00 when she was not even using it. I highly do NOT recommend this woman. Run from this place. K.B

I've never been a fan of my hair. Growing up I always had short hair, and I hated getting it cut…read morebecause it always looked like someone put a bowl on my head and cut around it; not the most flattering look even at 8 years old. I just recently moved to the area, and after a week I decided that I was overdue to get my ears lowered, so I started searching for a place to go. I came across New Wave on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Excited to get a fresh new look I plotted their address (via google) into my GPS and headed out, only to arrive at a Dunkin' Donuts... Uh oh! I had previously called to ask if they took walk-ins (which they do) so I had the number in my phone and gave them a ring. It turns out they've moved a little ways down the road and they gave me perfect directions to get to their new studio. When I arrived I was surprised at how great the place looked on the inside! I haven't been to too many salons but this place is beautiful, well kept, and very inviting to be at! The people are all very friendly, and a joy to be around. They have a good stock of Redken hair products which they use and sell, but they don't try to push you into buying something you won't want or need. I was talking with my stylist about different products for styling and she explained what I would need to achieve what I wanted, and was very knowledgeable about the products. I HIGHLY recommend the New Wave Hair Studio to anyone looking for a new look! I can honestly say that this is one of few, if not the first haircut that I've walked out of the salon really loving! So stop by and be sure to tell them Justin DiPierro sent you!
