I've been going there for years and my stylist suddenly retired due to health issues. Laura, the salon owner agreed to take her clients. I had an appointment for a highlight/color before my June cruise. She took me to her station... briefly looked at my hair and came back with a bowl and started coloring my hair from above roots to half way. She put me under a dryer, then shampoo bowl and back to her station. Upon combing out my hair before cutting I said "this isn't going to work"..I'm a blonde, not a brunette.. she looked shocked. I said "what do we do". She left for maybe 5-10 minutes or so and said "let me hightail you", I think it'll be fine. I said ok. I paid her what was expected and left her a tip She will no longer accept me as a client. She screwed up, not me. Now, she doesn't have the integrity to to me why she won't accept any appts from me. She just tells her receptionist to to tell me "she's booked" after her receptionist made an appointment for me. People make mistakes all the time. It's clear, unless, you're very young, beautiful and seemingly have lots of money, Laura doesn't want your business!! This salon has truly changed... stay away!!!! read more

I have been coming here for a couple of years now and love John. He does an excellent job and he is friendly. I don't have trouble getting on his schedule, which is great! The salon is clean and bright. My only complaint is the parking lot. I try to park on the street when I can. read more

This man is an intuitive designer who looks at the client's lifestyle, hair condition, LISTENS to his client's goal -- taking reality into consideration - and designs accordingly. Laura Geers has been cutting and highlighting my hair for a couple years - I will follow her anywhere, but I hope she stays here for awhile. Laura is a fantastic stylist and fun to talk to as well! I take my three girls there as well, they love it and the staff is always so friendly to them. Just a little gem of a salon. I am a lifelong customer of Pam Hail @ Hair Inc. She'll do what you ask, and doesn't go over board like some salons. I also love that she keeps it written down which color dyes you've used in the past. Though Hair Inc isn't the hippest salon, I'm sure Pam will do a great job on your next haircut. read more

I love this salon...Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I feel pampered and have a wonderful experience every time I visit Laura Geers. It's very relaxing and therapeutic. Laura cuts and colors my hair. Having naturally curly hair it is tough finding a stylist that knows how to handle my hair and give it the right cut. Laura has applied the Keratin treatment to my hair numerous times over the past 10 years I have been seeing her and it works like a charm. I didn't think there was a product out there that could straighten my curly hair, trust me I've tried a lot of them. I was stunned after having the first application of keratin when I washed my hair it actually air dried bone straight and no frizz !!!! I recently moved to Cincinnati from New York City and was very skeptical about finding a good hair salon. After a botched job at a highly recommended salon downtown, I found Hair, Inc. online and had a wonderful experience. I am a platinum blond, and it's very difficult to get the right color match, so they called my salon in New York to get the formula and did a fantastic job. Maria, at the front desk was super sweet and helpful and greeted me with a pleasant smile! I've now been to John for a cut and coloring a couple of times and really like his work! My only critique (and it's a small one) is that during my first visit, I didn't like the way the stylist styled my hair after my coloring. It ended up looking a bit ragged around the edges and she didn't seem to understand why I wanted her to fix it. Other than that, I give it thumbs up. read more

I wanted to give an updated review based on how I felt about my hair after my last appointment. The staff is still very kind and polite. But I began to realize after I looked at my hair color job that the hair stylist did that she really expressed that my desire to be all blond would not work for me. Which she had actually said that months prior as well at my previous hair appointment before that. I had said I wanted to be all blond. I even showed her photos. She said that wouldn't work out for me. She said she'd have to put low lights. I had asked why and she said that would be best for my hair. I actually asked her a few different ways about the reasoning behind the dark low lights and why she felt it was so important/necessary even though I was asking to be all blond. She did say she could add more highlights but I still had sections of darkness almost dark brown hair underneath the work that she did. I'm not sure if the salon is uncomfortable with dying someones hair bleach blond/all over color or not. Haircuts though have always been amazing. I think i'll try another salon though to get my 'all blond' look. read more

I went here for a highlight retouch with John. I had a bad experience. To their credit, I was about 15 min late. I called on the way. The receptionist told me to go ahead and come. Also, if a professional stylist does not have time to do what they need to do, I expect them to tell me that so I can reschedule. Fast forward a week and I've lost about 4 inches off my hair from corrective cut and had to pay for corrective color ( at another salon). The highlights were brighter at the top & spotty in areas.I asked him to cut what what needed to be cut. He cut a couple inches which I'm okay But, it was choppy and he did not ask me ahead of time to do that kind of cut. I contacted the salon thinking maybe he had a bad day. The manager said I would have to pay another stylist or have John do it which I was not comfortable with. The manager offered me one time the next day that she could fix it at 915 am. I told her I couldn't get there. Then suddenly I received a text that the owner wanted to just refund my money and they would mail it. I expected this to be handled better. read more
