I'm now going to have to find someone to fix it and will end up with a pixie cut to even it out. If you value your hair and money, don't go, you won't get what you're expecting.

The stylist cut her hair far too short, she asked her hair to be cut just below her shoulders, long layers, and curtain style bangs or bangs that are flared out. She ended up with a bob that lie ABOVE her shoulders with an uneven cut, and a lackluster of layers. I posted the reference picture my mom gave them for context and the haircut my mom got. It does not remotely look the same. I personally get a similar haircut -- long layers, curtain bangs, with slightly longer length and it's never looked how my mom's hair has...this is just overall really disappointing.

Transfers are not allowed -- if you try to move to another program, your hours won't transfer and all your time is lost. This is the most toxic program you can imagine. For the cost, stress, and lack of education, it is not worth it. Please consider other programs that actually teach, support, and prepare their students. I went here thinking the one-year program would fast-track me into the industry, but the truth is this school sets students up to fail. After the short intro meant for state board basics, the teaching basically stops. There's no real curriculum past that -- you're expected to take real clients without ever being properly shown how to do the services. Instead of support, students get mocked. If you struggle, instructors make fun of you in front of clients rather than teaching you. Meanwhile, all the clients go to the "star students" who already had experience when they walked in. If you need help, you're ignored and fall even further behind. It feels intentional, like they don't care whether you succeed at all. Most of us ended up on YouTube with mannequins just trying to learn on our own. That's not education. It's a setup where the school profits off client services while students are left embarrassed and unprepared. On top of that, the building has poor ventilation during chemical services, and the cleaning products used make it even worse -- the whole environment is unhealthy and discouraging.
