The marketing team did an amazing job...the website makes this place look like a real fabulous resort. Not quite! Its a mix of a RV campground, with private cabins you can also book. In my case it was cosy cabin with a queen bed, bunk bed, small bathroom, and kitchenette. I was expecting something more upscale, but for $306NZ for 2 nights I can't really complain...except for the windows which don't have screens to keep out the bugs, but that's the entire country of New Zealand, no one has screens on their windows!
Otherwise, for the price, this is a good place to stay. The cabin was clean and roomy enough for 2 people. Hahei's beautiful beach is a very short walk away, and you'll definitely want to be there for sunrise or sunset, its just gorgeous! Friendly staff will give you tips on what to do in the area. Great for the price, but rich luxury travelers will definitely hate this place. read more
