First United Methodist Church of Haddon Heights - I was going to stock the lake with minnows.

Unfortunately, the leaders of this church don't care about the neighbors. Mt. Ephraim UMC merged…read morewith First UMC of Haddon Heights and was renamed Fellowship. They abandoned the Mt. Ephraim property and put it up for sale. The first incident was when they cleaned out part of the church, putting trash in front of my house. When I called them about it, Ann (Ayn M. Masker, Senior Pastor) answered the phone. I told her the issue and she said she would speak to the pastor. I later found out from their website that SHE IS THE PASTOR!!! I had to look at the s*** they put in front of my house for a week! I finally drug it around in front of the church and dumped it on their lawn. Why would she have to lie? Churches are supposed to be about the community but she lied to me and used the front of my yard as a dump! In July, I left messages on the church number because my yard was getting flooded when it rained. The gutters dumped towards my yard, flooding it and my neighbor's yard. This wasn't an issue before but when they sold an adjacent property, the new owners cut down a quantity of trees that helped soak up the rainwater. When Fellowship didn't bother to respond (surprise!), I contacted United Methodists of Greater New Jersey. Beverly Schol, Property Manager, emailed Fellowship to contact me and resolve the issue. I had to follow up with Beverly Schol, who said she would contact Fellowship. After still not getting a response, I sent pictures of the lake in my yard. I contacted Beverly Schol twice after that and she didn't respond. Soon after, a real estate agent contacted me and said she had a buyer for the church. I told her about the flooding and to make sure that was included in the sale price. It is unfortunate that a church wouldn't address issues relating to their property when informed of them.
