I particularly like it because it is set in a walled garden with lovely views. They also have plants and garden accessories that i haven't seen at other garden centres. A good collection of bamboos, maples, acers and other oriental plants which is also why its my favourite. Well worth a visit in my opinion.

They also seem to specialise in those old style gardening tools that your granddad used for years. I used to visit here quite regularly during the summer months because they often had various pieces of garden furniture and art on display and for sale from local designers. Stuff that is very unique and often quirky and extremely stylish, definitely not the sort of thing you would get from B&Q or Homebase. These were items that would stylishly stand out in your garden and last you years.

The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, delivery is cheap and…read morereliable, and they have everything you could need in the garden, from onion setts to netting to a good variety of ornamental pots and flagstones etc. The plants are arranged by type (shrubs / perennials / bedding / herbs) so everything is easy to find. One of the nice things about this garden centre is that in their shrub area they always have a nice stock of Acers in (the trees, not the computers), and they're very reasonably priced.
