I signed up to volunteer my time at this shelter summer 2010. I enjoyed working in the kitchen and…read morehelping prepare food boxes that were set to go out into the community. During my life, there were several times I had help, this was an opportunity to give back. The Owners are strong Christian soldiers who continually give as much as their good Lord provides. If you are around the lovely town of Crossville, take a ride to the Miracle on Fourth St. and see the fruits of a good peoples work, roll your sleeves up and lend a hand. Hope is renewed with the presence of this place as there is no judgement whilst the doors of their hearts are always open and full of life.

My review about the Thift store Employees.I was in the this week 2 times…read morethis week.It has a great assortment of different stuff and most of it is good stuff .In my opinion they hare forgot that it is a Thift store and are pricing items like it is an Antique Store. The difference is things are donated to the Thift store the merchandise does not cost them anything .It seems to me thry have forgot that and fave hit down right ..greedy with there pricing.and for got that tte majority if there customers is Low income people that are willing to shop Thift stores instead of department stores so we can get things cheaper on iyr budgets. But the worst thing that I have found out about there Thift store is a few of there employees .The 1st 1 I would like comment on works at the cash register when she is not out side smoking.which that is favorite place and gets annoyed when some one actually has the nerve to attempt to cash out with her standing watching you at the door with her cigarettee not even attempting to poke her cig arette out until you are standing waiting in her to come and do her job,and if you have a question about something before you check out well uour out of luck because she don't like to be interrupted smoking her cig BECAUSE they are to expensive to waste just because a customer has a silly question. If you have not guessed with one I'm am talking about it is the older women with blonde hair and most of the time it's in a pony tail. SHE IS A SNOB AND SHE IS RUDE not to mention LAzy! I try to be nice to any cashier because I feel like it can be a hard job.I am patient etc. I will wait my turn and MoT get annoyed in doing so. She dies mot deserve her job when I went there yesterday .I went to buy a 40 dollar rug that I had seen earlier in the week.I left with out my rug , And I left feeling like I know how the Black Lady felt in the late 50 s when she was riding the bus and the white man needed a seat and she was told she had to give up her seat because the white man was taking her seat she refused and was arrested .The white man got the seat but the The bus station was boycotted 2 year .I left without my rug because I was treated wrong another women that was behind me got what I should have been able to get because I was the one that was getting showed the rugs she walked up as I was deciding .I told them that i felt like i had just got cheated they ignored me the lady that was behind me and took my rug .I would not have done that to her .I would have told them that the 1st choice should go to the one he was showing the rugs to when she walked up but like so many she just enjoyed their wrong doing because she benefited. So that was my experience on my trip to get a rug for my porch.but when I 1stbask for help with the rolled up rugs .1 of the helpers got 1 and took it to the front I ask him if he would in roll it so I coule see it and the blonde cashier didnt want himbyk in roll it she Said it was to much trouble .I told her I was not going to buy a used rug with out getting to see it.even that was an issue
