Premier Homes - Water heater in utility room. (The new one)

If I could give them a zero I would! I bought a brand new build from them out in pueblo west in…read more2019. We have had nothing by problems. First our breakers kept tripping. We couldn't plug in the Christmas lights outside without it tripping the breaker and then it would shut off our everything in our downstairs utility room. This happened several time in the first year of living in this house. The second year, I notice my ceiling downstairs started getting soft. Someone during the build forgot to put a seal in our shower in the master bathroom. It leaked all the way down and had to get that fixed including dry wall damage and paint damage. Our water heater went out in 2021, repaired parts to it and then this year 2023, we had to replace it completely. In 2022 the vent fan in our guest bath stopped working. Had to fix that. Our carpet is already separating from the walls downstairs and separating in the middle of the floor. Yesterday we had to replace the water pressure gauge and because of their cheap build, the plumber had to cut the dry wall just to get to the gauge. Now we have to fix that and put in a new access panel in so that they can actually have access to what they need. DO NOT BUY. I am going to report to the BBB. Save yourself the headache and the money with having to deal with all of these problems. Terrible terrible build design, cheaply made and thanks to premier I have had a terrible first time home owner experience.

Property Craft - Detail cleaning fire damage

They refused to…read morework with the property manager, only the owner, so everything took 3x as long to get approved. Came to do the initial bid. Included partition wall for neg pressure dehumidifying and more. Took 2 weeks to even start work. Showed up the first day the left after less than 2 hours, but they hauled away the carpet that was already pulled up. 2nd day, 3 guys. Removed tack stips. Put in 1 fan (no dehu, no wall,) and ssaid itd dried out enough on its own not to need more. 3rd day, 3 guys. Vaccuum the debris, applied antimicrobial to several floors. 4th day heidi came out. Said it needs asbesos testing and got annoyed at the microbal growth in the locations where the leak occured, where the most damage was. The crew leaders? Great. The crew and Heidi? A completely unprofessional person who put up road blocks every step of the way. The moving of furniture was discussed with her prior to initiation or work, but the guys who showed up day 1 had no idea so didnt bring a 3rd guy with them that day. As a property manager and person who works in the office of a contracting/construction company? Believe me when i say: This has been the worst experience with a company i have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Here we are, 3 weeks from the initial bid, and all they managed to do was remove the pile of pulled carpet, tack strips, vaccuum and apply antimicrobial to about half of the 850 total square feet. Heidi should be ashamed of herself and scott, the owner should get office staff that is competent, can communicate and can be professional.

We asked them to abstract a foreign object in our night depository dropbox and they did not disappoint. They did not leave until it was solved. Thank you so much for all the time and effort that went into this silly, hard job; it is greatly appreciated.

Fortino Painting - Newly stained vacation home

    Fortino Painting

This review is for Fortino Painting of Pueblo West. My…read moreproject consisted of the airless spraying of the exterior walls (all stucco), eaves, trim, etc. and exterior doors of my house, garage, and two other small outbuildings. There were numerous places that the paint was passable from one angle but light/non-existent from a different angle. Of course, I didn't discover these until days/weeks later but Joe wanted paid immediately. Don't pay him until you have thoroughly examined everything, EVERYTHING; otherwise once he's paid there's a good chance of you not seeing him again. They're not much good at brush work either. One door needed repainting, which they did but it looked (I have pics.) like it was repainted with cottage cheese. It took me hours to strip it down correctly, sand and then repaint it myself. The other main issue I have concerned approx. 150 sq. ft. of faux rock. It was painted but we both agreed that it would need another coat and that he would return, but not right away. I literally asked him to give me his "word-of-honor" (which he did) that if I paid him an additional $400 up front (which I did), he would return to complete this. It's been approx. 11 weeks since an initial call to him to return to fulfill our agreement. He said he would be contacting me to setup a day to return but hasn't contacted me and has since been ignoring/avoiding my attempts to contact him (calls/emails) to fulfill our verbal contract. Get everything in writing, as he will tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear! I honestly don't believe he is a real painter, but a wannabe who had a little money and thought he'd open a business. If you want someone who stands by you and his performance with your project, Joe Fortino is NOT your man. When it happens to you, don't say you weren't warned! Any man who will not keep his word is a real piece of (hmmm) work...

I got several texts, one saying they were on the way and the last one said they were 5 minutes out, but no one showed up and no one has responded to my text asking why no one showed up.
