I do not recommend ever using this company. I had an extension for my 2022 taxes and went into file them October 2023. The manager did not file them until January 2023. I paid him 415.00. When I went to file my 2023 taxes in April 2024 I found that my 2022 return had been rejected and no one ever let me know. So the lady supposedly corrected and submitted my 2022 and 2023 taxes charged me another 505.00. Twenty minutes after I left she called and said both returns were rejected. This was her last day, so now I would be working with the manager of the Gage store. I told her there was incorrect information. I told her I was not single but married filing separately. She said it would be corrected also my return was saying I had 24,000 in proceeds which was not true. She re-did the return, did not let me see it or approve it. Then in my H&R my block account it said 4,500 would be withdrawn for my return May 15, 2024. I called the complaint number and found I only owed 2,300. I called the IRS they confirmed I only owed 2,300. although now I owe another 1,000 in penalties as no one notified me the return had been rejected months earlier. The complaint center said they would escalate the matter and get back with me in 3-5 days. It has been over 2 weeks. They had the manager of the store call me and she insisted I did owe the 4,500 which is completely untrue. And I told her so. The day I talked to her I got an email saying a new account was being created with my account and that I had been verified. I told the complaint center and nothing was done. Now a new return was put into my H&R account reflecting the correct 2,300 number. I still have the bogus return that was there before. Do not ever use this company. I now have to re-do my 2023 return that they collected 505.00 for and my messages to the manager for a refund are left unanswered. I do not know how they can even stay in business, they claim 100% satisfaction guarantee, I am getting nothing. I had to shut down my bank account to keep the money from being fraudulently withdrawn. read more
