Do not support tax help companies. They lobby to make your taxes more difficult and convoluted so you're more likely to use their services. Thanks H&R Block corporate lobbyists for making taxes even more difficult read more

H&r block wrote that comment on the bottom of my Yelp review I called the number that they state it I talked to one person no idea I talked to number two no idea talk to number three and eventually I got frustrated and hung up so again that proves my point don't choose h&r block please don't they don't help you When to H&R block this year to do my taxes. First time been there in 4 years Needed the loan to get bills paid. Then I find out that my state refund is coming on 14th but hrblock is keeping for my fees. Why when I'm getting 5000 back in two weeks. My states only $ 300ish but they have to take that because it's coming in first. My girlfriend did her tax on TurboTax got a $2000 loan (from turbo tax on a card just like the emerald loan)and her state came in last week and turbo tax let her keep. They are waiting for the Federal. If your in need of and don't want to be taken for choose turbo tax. There not greedy like hrblock. TurboTax will let you have your state check and wait two more weeks for the big check. This will be the last year I go to hrblock. Nothing against the tax people at the office they where nothing but nice and helpfull. It's all hrblock greed to take from the people that need the most. read more

This year I went to a different CPA who looked over my 2020 tax return that Lisa prepared and filed. She found several big mistakes. Because of this, my daughter's FAFSA is not correct and she is getting far less for college this year than she did last year. My newly amended return has me getting an additional $1663 back. I would highly recommend that you steer clear of Lisa unless you like losing out on money.
