I was willing to pay a fee for a consult, totally understandable, he goes "we don't handle criminal cases!" (I had earlier told him enough that it was about harassment that I was experiencing, so civil if anything and it was more to find out my rights regarding a video of the harassment in question) he again was rude "we don't handle criminal cases!" I explained that the law firm was listed under criminal and he says "well that's wrong!" he was very rude, he wouldn't let me speak, I'm pretty shocked actually. I took my business elsewhere, another attorney got my business and my money and took care of my questions before the end of the business day. Good content, lessons on storytelling & world building, writing routines, very beginner level intro to psychic/astrological information, teaching you how to recognize your gifts, how to remove blocks, and how to apply your gifts in your writing. - 1:1 channeling session at the start of the program - 2 weekly zoom calls, one lesson one Q&A, optional writing prompts, as well as weekly assignments - Access to pre-recorded guided meditations meant to activate your writing gifts, and astrology lessons. - A space on Mighty Networks social media where response turnarounds were great! What I would change: - Our access to the guided meditations was revoked at the end of the course. - The cost of the 2nd half of the course only included the weekly zoom calls and the Mighty Networks interactions among members - All feedback for shared excerpts were firmly in the cheerleader category. Constructive feedback was not only not offered, requests were denied, and it was broadcast that other members should not offer it either. - often questions (ie what advice do you have to write an action scene?) Were met with simplistic answers (try YouTube! Or 'thats a second draft problem!). The Add-on: All who enrolled were charged a $500 deposit for a writing retreat. We were assured that there would be a quality (reflective of the cost) virtual retreat if we were unable to attend. The retreat would cost an additional $2000. I attended the retreat virtually, which got me 2 open zoom rooms during writing sprints, a bag of coffee, and a glass dip pen. Disappointing when it could have easily been more inclusive. What I would like to have experienced for the $ I paid: - More 1:1 channeling, perhaps another 2x30 min from each of the facilitators. - a way to incorporate constructive critiquing of my writing - greater inclusivity for virtual attendees of the retreat. Final note: This program has potential to be great! It feels like it's still in its infancy, and I hope Emily and KristaLyn take our feedback and respond with improvement! Lower the cost or up the quantity of 1:1 psychic/astrology gifts!

You learn how to connect and channel with your guides, basic understanding of astrology concepts, and examples of limited beliefs and block pulling. Added bonus, you learn how to use these skills to create a zero/first draft. The zoom lessons allow people across the country to interact, especially if you are camera shy and prefer to talk in the chat. Each week of lessons has mediations as well. The in-person retreat helps cultivate the relationships built. This program isn't a writing program - it's a mind-bending experience of energy, encouragement, and enlightenment. There are no grammar lessons, there is little-to-no presentations on plot structure. It is a forum of like-minded individuals who want to learn how to access and channel energy of their characters together.
