I've used this H & R block for the past 3 years and have had great experiences every year. The staff we had to our taxes are very knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything is done correctly. Our taxes can get a little hectic with all we have, and they always do a top notch job here. read more

Not only that but the pricing for s-corp is 50% higher than it should be. They will take advantage of you. they were 3 times higher than national average for a 1040. Worst tax experience ever since they have changed hands. Took them 45 days to file our taxes which…read moreconsisted of 4 W2s & claiming 2 independents. They did not make ANY contact prior to the filing deadline to let us know the status. I called the Monday taxes were due only to be told they THOUGHT they had filed an extension (they had all the paperwork March 28). A second phone call that week finally secured a mailed copy of the extension. Then I call on a Thursday in May asking what was going on. They again THOUGHT our taxes would be ready to file some time the following week. Tuesday was Election Day & I informed them I was off work & planned on being in their office that day to sign paperwork. That was at 2PM on Thursday. At 9AM on Friday our taxes were magically ready to be signed. Charged $270. Then when I ask how many hours were put into it, the manager in the Evansville office has to call me because they don't know at the Owensboro office. She tells me she thinks it is 3 or 4 hours - that the accountant keeps track of that. Needless to say we will not be using the company next year. You can drive by the office during tax season & not a single car is in the lot after 5PM. There is no accountability or communication. I would be fired from job for that. Place has gone downhill since the original owners left.

Pushy and Inflexible, Disregards Real Life Circumstances…read moreThis lawyer seems more interested in punishing the other parent than creating fair solutions. After my brother was in a car accident and no longer had transportation, she refused to honor the original court order requiring the child's mother to handle travel. Instead, she told him to "figure it out," even suggesting he get his elderly father to drive hours. Absolutely no empathy or professionalism -- just pressure and manipulation.
