I am making it a point to come here and try to balance out that (one and only) one star review cause I've had some serious issues with my taxes the past 3 years and they took such great care of me at this H&R block in getting me the money for all 3 years back. Honestly I don't know why you would use turbo tax when they charge the same or more and you have to do all of the work while at H&R I literally did virtually nothing but bring them the w-2's, sign a few things and answer a few questions. All I dealt with practically all of the employees working there and they were very nice and professional. For some reason I could not file with turbo tax at all because the IRS had my birthday wrong. I went through hoops and hoops to speak to a human being at the IRS and she told me to go ahead and file with the March 2nd they had listed for me for 2019 and for the previous years go to the SS office and try to get my birthday fixed. Well I didn't even attempt that later on during this pandemic since a couple of family members referred me to H&R I figured I'd give it a shot and the women working said we will go ahead and try to file under your real birthday and it went through almost immediately! So sure enough I found my other sets of taxes and filed all of them!! It's good to get tax money, along with stimulus and unemployment during this pandemic lol always a silver lining people! read more
