I was given an appointment for 1 o'clock THURSDAY with Misty and was told that Gary -- the only person who can talk about Medicare in the whole office -- won't be back until late JANUARY. Well, that will be too late won't it? Meanwhile, I got three electronic reminders to be there on time. I arrive on time and there is no one at the desk. Finally, an older lady comes in and says oh yes, Misty is here but she's not here and she's busy and can you wait a bit? Then I watched this Misty run back and forth across the entire office, throwing back at me "I'm sorry it'll be just a minute. I'm sorry it'll be just a minute just a second. It'll be just a minute," each time. She finally pulls me into her office and I'm finally able to start telling her what my insurance needs are. She doesn't even look at the papers that I've brought before she's jumping up and going to the reception desk to answer another customer's questions? She couldn't tell him to wait his turn? Her excuse? Her coworker is in the bathroom with IBS and she has to run an office! Now I've learned that she's the RECEPTIONIST, not an insurance agent and that her boss is gone for at least six weeks? At this time of year? Really? The office was empty except for the explosion of Christmas and Hanukkah on every single wall and shelf. It looked more like a gift shop. Insurance is serious business. This business is not serious. Sorry, but I don't think that this company has the staff to run this business and they should've said so when they made this appointment. However this year in 2024 I was taken aback by a strange change in her behavior. On Friday February 16th we exchanged some emails in regard to how I can pay her since I am out of state. She informed me that she does not accept any payment via cash transfer apps and she requested a money order. I was looking forward to sending the money order the following Monday when the post office was open, however I never had the chance. The very next evening, Saturday the 17th I received an alarming email at 9:05 with the subject line "Delete Me". The email went on to say that I am creepy for contacting her on her personal phone. A phone number she assured me earlier in the week was perfectly fine to contact her at. She went on to say that I obviously do not want to pay her and to stop wasting her time. I was completely confused and hurt. When I reached out to her to apologize and try to resolve the misunderstanding I was met with a barrage of emails and texts that were unhinged and wildly inappropriate given the circumstances. I almost feel badly to post this review as I'm legitimately concerned as to the mental and spiritual well being of Ms. Bonaventura. I hope that this review along with the other complaints submitted to the BBB will be the impetus for her to seek professional help.
