I decided to…read moretake the time out to have the head serviced and I must of had the worst luck in the world with it.. The head was damaged when I brought it in and I didn't know it. It ended up costing me more than I was expecting but Dover Head is very thorough in their work and always makes sure that their customers leave satisfied. They had my head for about a week and when I got the head back it looked brand new and was ready to be installed. The head gave me problems when attempting to install it and I ended up having to take the head back to the shop. Chris took my head back without question! I told him what I was having an issue with and Dover Head supported me to continue my project of putting the car back together. This time it was successful. After reassembling the car, the worst thing happened.. The check engine light came back on as soon as the car finally turned back on. Again Dover Head was there and they helped me in a way I'll never forget... If you have a head that needs to be serviced and you care about your car as much as I care about mine, take it here because they are good people who stand behind their work and what they do. Chris is an angel sent from heaven and will take care of you! He loves what he does and devotes his quality time and dedication to his work. I went anyway and once I watched them in action I realized they have everything they need. Top notch people and service. I will always go back to them when I need something done. Not to mention the HP gains and reliability. I know a lot of guys who use a Lynch motor for racing and have great success. They go out of their way to help you if they can. They give recommendations of parts and ways to save money or tell you your combo isn't as good as you thought. They are on your side. Ask any guys that race a Lynch motor.

Horrible experience here. To be fair everyone was really cool and as a person i liked them all, but…read morethat's where it ends. They installed my cam bearings wrong, covering an oil hole 100%, then argued on the phone initially. Then said bring it back. Did that and they seen the mistake, and said they would remove the cam bearing and flip it around. I said no i am not using reseated cam bearings. So he half-a removed them in front of me and refunded me for only labor. **Then i realized on the way home only 3 of the 4 bearings were the cleavite bearings i gave them.** One was the bearing i told them to remove. So they kept one of my new ones without saying anything about it. No wonder when i ask for the old bearings they said 'oh we threw them out.' Horrible, novice, dirty work is done here. Save your time and money, if you want quality, perfection work bring it to a cleaner better staffed machine shop that will pay attention to the job at hand and not offer half-a resolutions to their mistakes.
